RL Tuesday Social Morning
Our Social Morning will meet this week from 9.30-12 noon in Baker Finch Room at Arabian Ranches Golf Club. Please note the programme starts at 10.30 am.

Living with Breast Cancer
In a a change to our regular programme, the RL Tuesday Social Morning will be held downstairs in the Restaurant at Arabian Ranches Golf Club.
Please join us from 9.30am and we will be addressed by our new President, Beth Beggs, who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Beth will talk to us about her personal struggle with this terrible disease, her treatment here in UAE and she will give us her insights into living with cancer.

19 November 2019: The Winter Bazaar
Amend your diary! The date of the Bazaar has changed to 19 November. Our annual Winter Bazaar marks the start of the Festive Season. Lots of stalls to find seasonal gifts, yuletide music and tasty nibbles will put you in the mood for the party season.

Thank very much to Nithya Rajkumar for her wonderful talk at RL Social Morning today.
Nithya is a professional photographer and is offering 15% discount to RL members who want to book a classic portrait session or take up a group photography workshop in November.
Free Arabic Classes
Ranches Ladies has received an amazing offer by the Community Development Organisation (The CDA) only available to members of Ranches Ladies.
The CDA are giving members of Ranches Ladies the opportunity to take free Arabic Language classes in conjunction with Zayed House for Islamic Culture. The programme will continue for 5 months every Saturday for 4 hours from 10am – 2pm starting on 2nd November 2019.
The programme is free to RL members. As you will appreciate this is a wonderful opportunity. Please tell your friends about this offer and invite them to join RL if they are interested in these classes. We need to know who would like to take up the offer so please email us at ranches.ladies@gmail.com with the subject CDA Arabic Classes to register your interest.
Membership
It costs 55Dhs for RL members and 65dhs for guests to attend the Tuesday Social Mornings. Please bring the exact money in a labelled envelope, if you can, which will really help us.

RL Requests
RL is run entirely by volunteers and we rely on your kindness to give a few hours of your time each week to assist the Committee and keep Ranches Ladies running. We are currently looking for deputies to act as assistants to Jackie (Circles Coordinator), Anne (our treasurer) and to update the website with Sara (Webteam).
The easiest way you can help is to volunteer as one of our Meet and Greet ladies if you have a little time once a month. You will be asked to help out at roughly one Tuesday Social Morning a month and your role will be to show new members around, explain about the Circles, find them a seat with a group and make sure they have coffee and someone to talk to.

We collect pre-loved books which are available at the Tuesday Social Morning, free to RL members. Please bring in any books you have enjoyed reading.
