RL Tuesday Social Morning
Our Social Morning will meet this week from 9.30-12 noon in Baker Finch Room at Arabian Ranches Golf Club. Please note the programme starts at 10.30 am.

The Art Of Seeing (a photographer’s perspective)
A graduate from the prestigious National Institute Of Fashion Technology, with a Decade of Experience in the Fashion Business, Nithya blends her sense of color, creativity and branding concepts into Photography. Recognised by Nikon Middle East, Nithya is also a mentor and has been running Photography Workshops to empower mothers.
From the very start, Nithya knew that she couldn’t separate Social Responsibility from her Photography venture. She has been conducting various photography projects and talks that focus on creating a strong social impact , be it for raising awareness on a cause or for simply building an individuals self morale.
Come and meet Nithya and discover the power of photography.

“Energy Vampires” was the fascinating topic at RL Social Morning last Tuesday by Kyra van den Berg. She told us about situations, people and places we all recognised! And gave us strategies to cope with them.

26 November 2019: The Winter Bazaar
Put this in the diary! Our annual Winter Bazaar marks the start of the Festive Season. Lots of stalls to find seasonal gifts, yuletide music and tasty nibbles will put you in the mood for the party season.
Free Arabic Classes
Ranches Ladies has received an amazing offer by the Community Development Organisation (The CDA) only available to members of Ranches Ladies.
The CDA are giving members of Ranches Ladies the opportunity to take free Arabic Language classes in conjunction with Zayed House for Islamic Culture. The programme will continue for 5 months every Saturday for 4 hours from 10am – 2pm starting on 2nd November 2019.
The programme is free to RL members. As you will appreciate this is a wonderful opportunity. Please tell your friends about this offer and invite them to join RL if they are interested in these classes. We need to know who would like to take up the offer so please email us at ranches.ladies@gmail.com with the subject CDA Arabic Classes to register your interest.
Membership
If you would like to become an RL member or renew your membership please print off the membership form on the website http://www.arabianranchesladies.com (How To Join Us) and bring it along with a photocopy of both sides of your EID or passport to any of the Tuesday coffee mornings. Please bring the exact 120dhs in a labelled envelope.
It costs 55Dhs for RL members and 65dhs for guests to attend the Tuesday Social Mornings. Please bring the exact money in a labelled envelope, if you can, which will really help us.

The Silk Painting Circle is led by Rajul who will teach you this beautiful skill. You will make 2 exquisite silk paintings under her careful guidance. You will be amazed at what you can do!
Newcomer’s Coffee is on Thursday 24th October. Meet Helen at Shakespeare’s Cafe in AR1 Community Centre from 9.30am
The Walking Fitness Circle will now meet on a Monday morning from 7am for a 5 km walk around the Ranches followed by coffee at Costa. Email Alex on circles.ranches.ladies@gmail.com if you would like to come along.
The Gardening Circle is meeting on Thursday 24 October to visit the Trump Golf Course for a talk on keeping grass green in the UAE heat! Not to be missed tips for keen gardeners.
The Art Circles will start again in November with Elizabeth so please email on circles.ranches.ladies@gmail.com if you would like to join the Monday afternoon or Thursday morning classes from November.

RL Requests
RL is run entirely by volunteers and we rely on your kindness to give a few hours of your time each week to assist the Committee and keep Ranches Ladies running. We are currently looking for deputies to act as assistants to Jackie (Circles Coordinator), Anne (our treasurer) and to update the website with Sara (Webteam).
The easiest way you can help is to volunteer as one of our Meet and Greet ladies if you have a little time once a month. You will be asked to help out at roughly one Tuesday Social Morning a month and your role will be to show new members around, explain about the Circles, find them a seat with a group and make sure they have coffee and someone to talk to.

We collect pre-loved books which are available at the Tuesday Social Morning, free to RL members. Please bring in any books you have enjoyed reading.
