Literary Lunch Circle

Leader:  Karen

The October book for the Literary Lunch circle is Isabel Allende’s A Long Petal of the Sea. She has written 8 novels, a children’s trilogy and a memoir but she is probably best known for her magic realism House of the Spirits

The last session was on Monday 22nd June and discussed a true life story Lady in Waiting by Anne Glenconner.

We meet once a month for a pot luck lunch followed by a discussion of our chosen book. Lunch starts at 12 noon.  This is a fun, small gathering and we get to enjoy different foods and there is always a lively conversation about the book.  We take it in turns to host at members homes.  Everyone is Welcome
