Our Social Mornings meet from 9.30-12 noon in the Baker Finch Room, Arabian Ranches Golf Club. Please note the programme starts at 10.30 am.
October 16th 2018 Fashion Show: Barely Blush
Our talented RL members Barely Blush will display their gorgeous robes next Tuesday. These exquisite creations are made by Sarah, Maryam and Thaha, a team of young Dubai based female entrepreneurs.

Sarah of Barely Blush has requested that our volunteer models wear plain coloured clothes on Tuesday, the better to display the garments!
On Tuesday 30th October it is RL’s annual Autumn Party! Fun and competitions galore. What can you do with a pumpkin?
That time of year is approaching and our Winter Bazaar will be held on 13th November. Keep your diary clear for the event that marks the start of the festive season.
We have launched the RL gardening challenge. Plant up your pots with flowers, herbs or vegetables for our competition which will be judged in February 2019. Flyers with details can be picked up at our Tuesday social mornings.
Lorna has organised the next cultural cooking morning on 5th November. Please see the website for more details and book your place as numbers are limited.
Following her wonderful party on Tuesday our Honorary President Carole Binbrek wishes to say thank you to all the RL members who made it one of the best parties of her life. She also gives many thanks for her lovely gifts, the effort made by everyone to decorate the room and the fabulous entertainment and to all her lovely friends who joined the celebration.
This is a last call for donations of medicines for Al Ihsan. Please bring in your unwanted medicines in the original packaging.
There is still no ATM at Arabian Ranches Golf Club so please come prepared!

- The monthly Literary Lunch will be held tomorrow, 15th October, and we are reading “The Little Paris Bookshop” by Nina George.
- Mosaics will take place 1-4pm on 17th October in Savannah. We usually meet on 1st and 3rd Wednesday each month.
- The Book Circle will meet on 21st October. “Dear Mrs Bird” by A.J Pearce will be discussed.
- Uni Mums will meet on 17th October on Palmera. Please let Ali know if you will attend.
- The Quilters have their monthly meeting at AR Golf Club on Sunday 21st October in the Baker Finch room.
- 2 new circles are proposed. Fadwa would like to begin a Crochet Circle on Thursday mornings and Bettina will lead a Handicrafts Circle. Please let us know on the circles email if you would like to join either.

Join us and book your place: Museum of Illusions
On 28th October we will visit the newly opened Museum of Illusions. This is in Al Seef area and we will depart from Arabian Ranches Golf Club at 9.30am. It will cost 80dhs. More details to follow.
