Panini-making Workshop at Larte
Last Tuesday 9th May, Ranches Ladies enjoyed a special Panini-making Workshop at Larte, Studio One Hotel. Guest chef Francesco Arena taught the ladies how to make delicious variations of Italian bread.
Thank you to Chef Francesco and the team at Larte for a fantastic morning.
Tuesdays at Larte
Ranches Ladies are meeting every Tuesday morning at Larte, Studio One Hotel in Studio City, 10.30am to 12 midday. Join us for tea or coffee and a chat. You can also join or renew your RL membership and find out about activities on offer.
Volunteer Needed
We urgently require a volunteer to coordinate discounts for Ranches Ladies.
The Discount Coordinator role involves communicating with current and potential new discount partners from time to time, to keep the discounts updated. It will not be a large time commitment.

Newsletter Contributions
What can you share with other RL members? Let us know what you have been doing in your circles group or other RL events, recommend places to visit in and around Dubai, or anything else.
We need short (200-300 word) articles for this newsletter, with photos if possible. It would be great to have an article for each week’s newsletter.
Please email any items for the newsletter to ranches.ladies@gmail.com before midday on Friday for inclusion in the next Monday’s newsletter.

Last week, the French Circle had their last class and lunch for this season. They will now take a break until September.
Art Circle
In the Art Circle, ladies are making lovely paintings on varied themes from nature to masterpieces.

Line Dancing Circle
The Line Dancing Circle, led by Carole, meet on Wednesday mornings. The venue has changed to Melodica Dance Studio, near Waitrose in Motor City.

International Festival Lunch Circle
The International Festival Lunch Circle are celebrating Global Africa Day on 25th May with a lunch hosted by Jackie Daair with help from other RL members.

Mosaics Circle
The Mosaics Circle are having fun creating some beautiful pieces.

Pilates Circle
Gillian from Optimal Fitness is teaching the Pilates circle at Optimal Fitness in Studio City (opposite Studio One Hotel).
There are now 2 sessions on Mondays 10.30-11.30am and Thursday afternoons 2-3pm. New ladies are welcome to join.

Book Circle
The Book Circle, led by Jackie, are reading The Blue Between Sky and Water by Susan Abulhawa. They plan to meet to discuss this book on Friday 19th May, 9.30am at AR Golf Club.

Literary Lunch Circle
The Literary Lunch Circle, led by Ashfaa, are reading ‘Honey and Spice’ the debut novel by internationally bestselling author, Bolu Babalola. They plan to meet to discuss this on Monday 22nd May over lunch.

The Spanish Circle, led by Maria, meet in Dubai Marina with beautiful view over the marina. Thursday mornings for beginners and Friday mornings for beginners and intermediates.

Poetry Circle
The theme for the next Poetry Circle meeting, planned for Monday 29th May, 2.30-4.30pm is Greek and Roman Mythology. If you would like to join, please bring 2 or 3 poems on the theme to read and discuss.
