Coffee Morning Presentation – 18th April

The number of Circles activities have increased so it is not possible to fit each one on the newsletter every week. See the Circles Calendar for April on the website for more activities.
Italian Circle
Booked your holiday in Italy? Join the Italian circle to learn in a new and fun way the language. Each session is a speaking booster! No books no pens needed, bring only yourself.

International Festivals Lunch Circle
The Lebanese Eid Lunch, to be hosted by Ruth Morgharbel in JBR on Thursday 27th April, is now fully booked.
Art Circle

Quilters Circle
Ladies from the Quilters Circle enjoyed a macrame workshop at their last meeting and took home cute key chains made on the day.
Ranches Ladies Quilters meet regularly, usually on the 3rd Monday of the month at 10am. Their Annual Retreat is due to be held from 15th to 17th May this year.

Storytelling Circle
Last week, the Storytelling Circle was on the topic ‘My Favourite Outfit.’ Here is a photo of Jillie in her favourite outfit, her old woollen school cloak from the 1960s.
The topic for the next meeting planned for Monday 8th May, 2.30-4.30pm in Arabian Ranches 1, will be ‘My Favourite Holiday Destination.’ Come prepared to talk for a few minutes on the topic.

Gardening Circle
The Gardening Circle are not meeting this month. However Jackie, the circle leader, thought members may be interested in a competition by The Garden Concept Store. Enter the My Garden Concept competition by uploading photos of your garden with a description by 30th April, for a chance to win a voucher to spend on garden furniture.

Mariana is teaching yoga outdoors, 5pm on Tuesdays and 8.15am on Fridays.

Pilates Circle
Gillian from Optimal Fitness is teaching the Pilates circle at Optimal Fitness in Studio City (opposite Studio One Hotel).
There are now 2 sessions on Mondays 10.30-11.30am and Thursday afternoons 2-3pm. New ladies are welcome to join.

Walking Fitness Circle
Come and join the Walking Circle while the weather is still not too hot. Meet on Mondays at 7.15am outside the main entrance of the Community Retail centre in Arabian Ranches to walk for around one hour. Tea/coffee in Costa afterwards at 8.15am.

Beach Walking Circle
The Beach Walking Circle, led by Monika, at Kite beach (Blue Villas parking) on Tuesdays at 6.30am, walk for around 7-8 km and stop for coffee afterwards.

Literary Lunch Circle
The Literary Lunch Circle, led by Ashfaa, are taking a break in this month. They plan to meet again on Monday 22nd May to discuss ‘Honey and Spice’ the debut novel by internationally bestselling author, Bolu Babalola.
