Eid Lunch
The International Festival Lunch Circle are organising a Lebanese Eid Celebration Lunch, hosted by Ruth Morgharbel. This will be on Thursday 27th April at 12.30pm at Ruth’s apartment in JBR.

Coffee Morning Presentation – 18th April
Join us on 18th April at Larte, Studio One Hotel, for a presentation by HeroGo about fighting food waste. HeroGo are the UAE’s first sustainable online grocery store. Learn how to reduce food waste and save the planet while also saving money on your grocery bill.
Tuesdays at Larte
Ladies are welcome to continue meeting on Tuesday mornings during Ramadan at Larte, Studio One Hotel in Studio City, 10.30am to 12 midday. You can also join or renew your RL membership and find out about activities on offer.

RL Circles News
The number of Circles activities have increased so it is not possible to fit each one on the newsletter every week. See the Circles Calendar for April on the website for more activities.
Ramadan may affect the scheduling of some Circle activities.
Mosaics Circle
The Mosaics Circle are having fun creating some beautiful pieces.
They meet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9.30am in Green Community East, DIP.

Quilters Circle
The Ranches Ladies Quilters Annual Retreat is due to be held from 15th to 17th May this year.
Ranches Ladies Quilters are a group within Ranches Ladies who love creating with quilting, sewing and embroidery. They meet regularly, usually on the 3rd Monday of the month at 10am. This month they are meeting today, 10th of April, instead of 17th April.

Art Circle
The Art Circle had a lovely class last Thursday, with members doing some outstanding work. The highlight was Carole finishing her beautiful antique Chinese panels.

Literary Lunch Circle
The Literary Lunch Circle, led by Ashfaa, are taking a break in this month. They plan to meet again on Monday 22nd May to discuss ‘Honey and Spice’ the debut novel by internationally bestselling author, Bolu Babalola.

Book Circle
The Book Circle, led by Jackie, are reading ‘White Chrysanthemum’ by Mary Lynn Bracht, a deeply moving novel that follows two Korean sisters separated by World War II. They plan to meet to discuss this book on 14th April, 9.30am at AR Golf Club.

Spanish Circle
The Spanish Circle, led by Maria, meet in Dubai Marina with beautiful view over the marina. Thursday mornings for beginners and Friday mornings for beginners and intermediates.

French Circle
The French Circle, led by Bea Sion, meet on Friday mornings and the venue varies. If you know some basic French but would like to improve and learn more, join the French Circle. New members welcome.

Walking Fitness Circle
Come and join the Walking Circle while the weather is still not too hot. Meet on Mondays at 7.15am outside the main entrance of the Community Retail centre in Arabian Ranches to walk for around one hour. Tea/coffee in Costa afterwards at 8.15am.

Beach Walking Circle
The Beach Walking Circle, led by Monika, at Kite beach (Blue Villas parking) on Tuesdays at 6.30am, walk for around 7-8 km and stop for coffee afterwards.

Yoga Circle
Mariana is teaching yoga outdoors, 5pm on Tuesdays and 8.15am on Fridays.

Pilates Circle
Gillian from Optimal Fitness is teaching the Pilates circle at Optimal Fitness in Studio City (opposite Studio One Hotel).
There are now 2 sessions on Mondays 10.30-11.30am and Thursday afternoons 2-3pm. New ladies are welcome to join.

Cinema Circle
The Cinema Circle, led by Marina, meet on Monday mornings at Mall of the Emirates (provided there’s something good to see!) and often stay for coffee and cake or lunch after the film.
A choice of films will be emailed on a Thursday afternoon and the highest vote wins.

Embroidery Circle
The Embroidery Circle, led by Saba, are meeting on Thursdays 10.30am-12pm at Saba’s home in Al Furjan. Materials will be supplied for new ladies to get them started.
