Coffee Morning Presentation – 18th April

Art Exhibition in Ajman
Saba Asim, RL member and Quilters Circle leader, is participating in an art exhibition hosted by the PaintBrush Art Community under the patronage of Ajman Tourism.
AYAH is an international Live art and exhibition providing a platform to emerging artists from across 7 nationalities to showcase their talent. The theme for this event is the Holy Month of Ramadan. It is open to the public from 19th March to 26th April at Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel.
Tuesdays at Larte
Ladies are welcome to continue meeting on Tuesday mornings during Ramadan at Larte, Studio One Hotel in Studio City, 10.30am to 12 midday. You can also join or renew your RL membership and find out about activities on offer.

RL Circles News
The number of Circles activities have increased so it is not possible to fit each one on the newsletter every week. See the Circles Calendar for April on the website for more activities.
Ramadan may affect the scheduling of some Circle activities.
Quilters Circle
The Quilters Circle met on 20th March and had a great time listening to amazing stories and viewing everyone’s first quilts. It made them realised how far they have all come since they started quilting.
Ranches Ladies Quilters are a group within Ranches Ladies who love creating with quilting, sewing and embroidery. Meetings are usually on the 3rd Monday of the month at 10am. Their Annual Retreat is due to be held from 15th to 17th May this year.

Art Circle
The Art Circle are producing some stunning paintings and enjoying learning new techniques.
They meet on Thursdays from 10am to 12 noon.

Line Dancing Circle
The Line Dancing Circle, led by Carole, learnt a Waltz Country Dance last week, in addition to Line Dancing.

Book Circle
The Book Circle, led by Jackie, are reading ‘White Chrysanthemum’ by Mary Lynn Bracht, a deeply moving novel that follows two Korean sisters separated by World War II. They plan to meet to discuss this book on 14th April, 9.30am at AR Golf Club.

Yoga Circle
Mariana is teaching yoga outdoors, 5pm on Tuesdays and 8.15am on Fridays.

Pilates Circle
Gillian from Optimal Fitness is teaching the Pilates circle at Optimal Fitness in Studio City (opposite Studio One Hotel).
There are now 2 sessions on Mondays 10.30-11.30am and Thursday afternoons 2-3pm. New ladies are welcome to join.

Storytelling Circle
The Storytelling Circle meet once a month on a Monday afternoon from 2.30 – 4.30pm at Carole’s villa in Savannah, Arabian Ranches 1. Members come prepared to talk for a short while on a given theme.
The theme for the next meeting on 10th April is “MY FAVOURITE OUTFIT.”

Walking Fitness Circle
Come and join the Walking Circle while the weather is still not too hot. Meet on Mondays at 7.15am outside the main entrance of the Community Retail centre in Arabian Ranches to walk for around one hour. Tea/coffee in Costa afterwards at 8.15am.

Beach Walking Circle
The Beach Walking Circle, led by Monika, at Kite beach (Blue Villas parking) on Tuesdays at 6.30am, walk for around 7-8 km and stop for coffee afterwards.

Italian Circle
The Italian Circle, led by Paola and Nicoletta, are having fun while learning Italian.
