Circles Coffee Morning – 21st March
Last weeks Circles Coffee Morning was a great opportunity for members and non-members to find out more about all our different activities. The team at Larte did a good job of the set up despite the rain.
Many thanks to Hayat, Jackie, and Josephine for organising, and Lisa for collecting memberships & making sure everyone was registered. Thank you to the Circle Leaders for all the effort they put into their circles year round!
Iftar Cancelled
Unfortunately, due to lack of interest, the decision has been taken to cancel the planned Ranches Ladies Iftar on Wednesday, 29th March 2023
Art Exhibition in Ajman
Saba Asim, RL member and Quilters Circle leader, is participating in an art exhibition hosted by the PaintBrush Art Community under the patronage of Ajman Tourism.
AYAH is an international Live art and exhibition providing a platform to emerging artists from across 7 nationalities to showcase their talent. The theme for this event is the Holy Month of Ramadan. It is open to the public from 19th March to 26th April at Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel.
Tuesdays at Larte
Ladies are welcome to continue meeting on Tuesday mornings during Ramadan at Larte, Studio One Hotel in Studio City, 10.30am to 12 midday. You can also join or renew your RL membership and find out about activities on offer.

What would you like to share with other RL members?
We need short (200-300 word) articles for this newsletter, with photos if possible. It would be great to have an article for each week’s newsletter.

RL Circles News
The number of Circles activities have increased so it is not possible to fit each one on the newsletter every week. See Circles Calendar on the website for more activities. The April Calendar will be posted as soon as possible.
Ramadan may affect the scheduling of some Circle activities.
Italian Circle
The Italian Circle, led by Paola and Nicoletta, are having fun while learning Italian.
Join them on Wednesdays from 10 to 11 am. All levels are welcome.

Quilters Circle
The Quilters Circle are busy planning their Annual Retreat, due to be held in May.
Ranches Ladies Quilters are a group within Ranches Ladies who love creating with quilting, sewing and embroidery. Meetings are usually on the 3rd Monday of the month at 10am.

Lunch Circle
The Lunch Circle are going to Tresind Indian Restaurant for their Business Lunch today. Only a few places still available. WhatsApp Karen if you are interested.
Spanish Circle
The Spanish Circle, led by Maria, meet in Dubai Marina with beautiful view over the marina. Thursday mornings for beginners and Friday mornings for beginners and intermediates.

Uni Mums
Uni mums, led by Marina, are a group for those with grown-up children at college or university. They meet around once a term and have a WhatsApp group.

Storytelling Circle
The Storytelling Circle meet once a month on a Monday afternoon from 2.30 – 4.30pm at Carole’s villa in Savannah, Arabian Ranches 1. Members come prepared to talk for a short while on a given theme.
The theme for the next meeting on 10th April is “MY FAVOURITE OUTFIT.”

Walking Fitness Circle
Come and join the Walking Circle while the weather is still not too hot. Meet on Mondays at 7.15am outside the main entrance of the Community Retail centre in Arabian Ranches to walk for around one hour. Tea/coffee in Costa afterwards at 8.15am.

Beach Walking Circle
The Beach Walking Circle, led by Monika, at Kite beach (Blue Villas parking) on Tuesdays at 6.30am, walk for around 7-8 km and stop for coffee afterwards.

Mahjongg Circles
The Mahjongg Monday Circle, led by Sharon, are meeting to play on Mondays from 10.15am to 1pm, upstairs in Shakespeare and Co, Arabian Ranches 1.
The Mahjongg Tuesday Circle, led by Supriya, meet to play ATF Mahjongg on Tuesdays 11am-1.30pm at Shakespeares and Co. Arabian Ranches 1.

Gillian from Optimal Fitness is teaching the Pilates circle at Optimal Fitness in Studio City (opposite Studio One Hotel).
There are now 2 sessions on Mondays 10.30-11.30am and Thursday afternoons 2-3pm. New ladies are welcome to join.
