RL Tuesday Social Morning
Our Social Morning will meet this week from 9.30-12 noon at Arabian Ranches Golf Club.
3 December 2019: Informal Coffee Morning
Next week we will enjoy an extended weekend holiday to celebrate UAE National Day festivities. The RL social morning will not take place but you are invited to join us for coffee and breakfast at Arabian Ranches Golf Club restaurant from 9.30am on Tuesday 3rd December if you are free.

Last Tuesday we welcomed Andreea Stefanescu from The School of Manners to talk about Hostessing and Dining Touches. Andreea was extremely knowledgeable about etiquette and manners and was able to use her many years of experience to teach us about how to be the perfect hostess

18 December 2019: Festive Garden Party
On Wednesday 18 December Carole will host her annual festive garden party in Savannah for members of Ranches Ladies and their visiting house guests. All offers of food are welcome. There will be an entrance fee of 55 dirhams collected in advance which will be used for RL fundraising.

This Month’s Circles
The Walking Fitness Circle has started again every Monday at 7am. Meet Alex for a leisurely walk followed by coffee at Costa at AR community centre
Newcomers Coffee will now be held upstairs at Shakespeare’s cafe on 5 December from 9.30am. Please note the change of date
Also on Thursday 5th is the next Egyptian Cookery class. Please let Fadwa know if you can attend.

Membership
It costs 55Dhs for RL members and 65dhs for guests to attend the Tuesday Social Mornings which reimburses AR Golf Club for the use of the room and the refreshments. Please bring the exact money in a labelled envelope, if you can, which will really help us.
We now also have a new option, the 6 week pre-payment card. These can be purchased for 330dhs and will allow you to attend the RL social morning on 6 occasions without the need to hunt for your entrance fee.
The ATM is now back at the golf club.

RL Requests
RL is run entirely by volunteers and we rely on your kindness to give a few hours of your time each week to assist the Committee and keep Ranches Ladies running. We are currently looking for deputies to act as assistants to Jackie (Circles Coordinator), Anne (our treasurer) and to update the website with Sara (Webteam). The easiest way you can help is to volunteer as one of our Meet and Greet ladies if you have a little time once a month.
