This Week
Unfortunately the ladies lunch due to go ahead today, 20th January, at Maha of My Kitchen Secret’s home in Al Barari has been cancelled due to lack of interest. This is very disappointing as we hoped to be able to send all the proceeds to Al Ihsan. We hope to arrange another lunch soon.
Today, 20th January, The Handicrafts Circle will take place where you can make some items to be proud of.
The January Book Circle will meet today at the Golf Club and the book is “The Muse” by Jessie Burton.
The Literary Lunch Circle will meet tomorrow, 21st January. The book is “The Wild” by Cheryl Strayed.
Also tomorrow, the Art Circle will meet at Mudon for the second session of the new year.
The Mosaic Circle will meet again on 23rd January.
The Gardening Circle will next meet on 24th January at 10am to visit the Gover Horticulture nursery in Al Warsan and learn about Green Walls/Vertical Gardens.

We are proposing to start an Arabic Conversation Circle in February, date and time yet to be confirmed. Please sign up on our email above so we can gauge interest.
Next Week
The Poetry Circle will take place in Savannah on Arabian Ranches 1 on 28th January at 2.30pm and the topic this month is “Family”. Let poetry light up your life! Join like minded people, relax and share your favourite poems.
Newcomers Social Morning is being held on 31st January at Shakespeare’s Cafe upstairs at AR1 community centre. Come and meet Helen and be introduced to other new and not so new members. Old and new members are all very welcome.
Upcoming Trips
27th January: Dubai Frame and Zaa’beel Park
We will meet in the Arabian Ranches Golf Club car park at 9am to lift share to the Frame, one of Dubai’s remarkable new attractions. Visitors can take a lift to the viewing area at the top of the Frame with stunning views over Dubai.
There will be a 50 dhs entrance fee, but over 60s are free!!!
