Ranches Ladies Tuesday Social Morning

Our Social Mornings meet from 9.30-12 noon in the Baker Finch Room, Arabian Ranches Golf Club. Please note the programme starts at 10.30 am.

November 6th 2018 Talk and Demo: Janet White

Janet is an interior designer who will give us ideas and tips on Christmas decoration themes and show us how to make a simple bow. She will show us designs of wreaths, garlands and centrepieces and tell us how to give a designer touch to a Christmas tree.

Announcements:

The Christmas season is approaching and our Festive Winter Bazaar will be held on 13th November. Keep your diary clear for the event that marks the start of the festive season. There will be an array of stalls and a yuletide atmosphere.

Gayle of the Singing Circle is asking for singers to join the choir to perform at the Christmas tree lighting ceremony at the Golf Club on 15th December. Please join her on Wednesdays at 11.20am in the Loft.

There is still no ATM at Arabian Ranches Golf Club so please come prepared!

  • RL is delighted to announce that Elizabeth Bruce has agreed to lead the Art Circles and started her classes this week. Welcome to Elizabeth.
  • The Ladies Lunch will take place on 11th November at the new Hamptons Restaurant in Arabian Ranches 1.  A special all-inclusive menu is available.
  • The Mosaics Circle will meet on 7th and 21st November this month.
  • Gaye’s Singing Circle is held weekly at 11.20am on Wednesday upstairs in the Loft at AR Golf Club. Come along and sing your hearts out.
  • We have 2 mahjongg circles.  Mahjongg 1 on Monday at 10am with Sharon in Al Arrab Restaurant and Mahjongg 2 with Supriyah on Sunday at 12 in Shakespeare’s Cafe, both in AR community centre.
  • Next month’s book for the Literary Lunch Circle is “The Red Sari” by Javier Moro.
  • The Book Circle is reading “The Second Mrs Hockaday” by Susan Rivers.
