Presentation on 1st November
We are delighted to have our first presentation this year for Ranches Ladies, on Tuesday, November 1st 2022, 10.30am at Larte, Studio One Hotel, Studio City.

Tuesday Mornings
Ranches Ladies are meeting every Tuesday morning for coffee at Larte Restaurant in Studio One Hotel, Studio City (across the roundabout from the back entrance of Arabian Ranches 1) from 10.30am – 12pm.
Please note, there are roadworks and road closures in the area of the 2 roundabouts which connect the back exit of Arabian Ranches to Studio City and Motor City and it is not possible to cross over directly to Studio City. Probably the best routes to reach Studio One Hotel from Arabian Ranches are via D61 (Hessa Street) or D54. More details of suggested routes have been sent on the RL members WhatsApp group.
If you have not yet renewed your membership, or you would like to join, you can do this at Larte Cafe, Studio One Hotel, Studio City on any Tuesday morning from 10.30am to 12 noon.
Please bring completed membership form, your Emirates ID (or passport if ID unavailable) and fee of 120 AED. Get more information and download the form on the membership section of our website: Ranches Ladies Membership and Renewals
If you are unable to get to Larte on Tuesday morning to do your renewal, you can ask a friend to bring your form, copy of your ID and membership fee.

The International Lunch Circle, led by Carole, are looking for volunteers to cook, host or help with future lunches.

Crochet Circle
Crochet Circle, led by Debra, will begin on 1st November and will initially run every Tuesday from 1-3pm and Thursday from 8:30-10:30am.
PaperCraft Circle
Hand Embroidery Circle
Saba would like to start a Hand Embroidery Circle, for ladies to stitch as a group and learn new techniques. Please email circles.ranches.ladies@gmail.com of you are interested.

The number of Circles activities are increasing so it is not possible to fit each one on the newsletter every week. Check the Circles Calendar on the website for more details.
Walking Circles
During the hotter months, the Walking Circle are meeting at Dubai Hills Mall outside Marks and Spencer’s at 9am to walk for one hour around the mall. (Closest parking is via Entrance E, Sharaf DG Parking P1.) Stay afterwards for refreshments and a chat at the small cafe inside M&S.
From Monday 7th November, they are planning to walk outdoors again, starting at 7.15am outside Costa Coffee Arabian Ranches 1 retail centre.

Beach Walking Circle
The Beach Walking Circle, led by Monika, at Kite beach (Blue Villas parking) on Tuesdays at 6.30am, walk for around 7-8 km and stop for coffee afterwards.

Art Circle
The Art Circle, led by Rajul, are meeting on Thursdays from 10am to 12 noon to learn new techniques and create beautiful paintings. New members welcome.

Mariana is teaching yoga – 8.30am on Fridays and 6.30pm on Tuesdays.

Pilates Circle
The Pilates Circle meet on Thursday afternoons 2-3pm, at Optimal Fitness in Studio City. Gillian from Optimal Fitness is teaching the class and there is space for more ladies to join.

Quilters Circle
Here are some photos from the last meeting of the Quilters Circle on 17th October.
They meet on the 3rd Monday of each month, and the next meeting is scheduled for 21st November. The Quilters Circle have a separate membership under the umbrella of Ranches ladies. New members are welcome.

Jewellery Clinic Circle
The next jewellery clinic is on the 26th of October. If you have a piece of jewellery that has sentimental value or some that you don’t wear anymore and would like to give them a new life, then the jewellery clinic circle is your answer. Hayet can help you redesign it or fix it and enjoy wearing it again.

The Poetry Circle, led by Carole, meet to read and discuss poems on a theme. The next meeting is on Monday 31st October, 2.30pm and the theme is ‘Movement and Dance.’
