Circles Coffee Morning

The Circles Coffee Morning last Tuesday was a great success. Many existing and new RL members came along to find out about all the activities on offer, with many signing up to join circle groups.

Many thanks to Jackie, Josephine, Hayet, other committee members and all the Circle Leaders who helped in setting up and organising the event, and to Larte Restaurant at Studio One Hotel for hosting us.

Tuesday Mornings

Ranches Ladies are meeting every Tuesday morning for coffee at Larte Restaurant in Studio One Hotel, Studio City (across the roundabout from the back entrance of Arabian Ranches 1) from 10.30am – 12pm.

Please note, there are roadworks and road closures in the area of the 2 roundabouts which connect the back exit of Arabian Ranches to Studio City and Motor City and it is not possible to cross over directly to Studio City. Probably the best routes to reach Studio One Hotel from Arabian Ranches are via D61 (Hessa Street) or D54. More details of suggested routes have been sent on the RL members WhatsApp group.

Membership Renewals

If you have not yet renewed your membership, or you would like to join, you can do this at Larte Cafe, Studio One Hotel, Studio City on any Tuesday morning from 10.30am to 12 noon.

Please bring completed membership form, your Emirates ID (or passport if ID unavailable) and fee of 120 AED. Get more information and download the form on the membership section of our website: Ranches Ladies Membership and Renewals

If you are unable to get to Larte on Tuesday morning to do your renewal, you can ask a friend to bring your form, copy of your ID and membership fee.

Hiking Circle

Some ladies recently went on a hike to Alhambra Ravine, organised by ECC Adventures. As the weather is improving the Ranches Ladies Hiking Circle are hoping to venture out on more hikes soon.

The Art Circle, led by Rajul, are meeting on Thursdays from 10am to 12 noon to learn new techniques and create beautiful paintings. New members welcome.

Jewellery Clinic Circle

If you have a piece of jewellery that has sentimental value or some that you don’t wear anymore and would like to give them a new life, then the jewellery clinic circle is your answer. Hayet can help you redesign it or fix it and enjoy wearing it again.

Poetry Circle

The Poetry Circle, led by Carole, meet to read and discuss poems on a theme. The next meeting is on Monday 31st October, 2.30pm and the theme is ‘Movement and Dance.’

Indoor Walking Circle

The Walking Circle are continuing indoors until the weather cools down. They meet at Dubai Hills Mall outside Marks and Spencer’s at 9am to walk for one hour around the mall. Stay afterwards for refreshments and a chat at the small cafe inside M&S. New ladies are always welcome to join.

Closest parking is via Entrance E, Sharaf DG Parking P1.

Beach Walking Circle

The Beach Walking Circle, led by Monika, at Kite beach (Blue Villas parking) on Tuesdays at 6.30am, walk for around 7-8 km and stop for coffee afterwards.
