Expo 2020 Dubai
Expo 2020 Dubai is on until 31st March 2022.
A day, or even a few, is not enough to see it all – so season tickets are the best option.
The October pass (available for purchase until 15th October) offers unlimited daily access for the month of October for only 95 AED.
Entry is free for kids and youth up to 17 years, students, senior citizens 60 years+, and people of determination, but advanced booking is still required for free tickets.

Tuesday Mornings
Great news! We have recently been given approval to restart our multi-cultural social mornings.
We are currently meeting at Larte Restaurant in Studio One Hotel, Studio City (across the roundabout from the back entrance of Arabian Ranches 1) from 10.30am- 12pm on Tuesday mornings for coffee and to process new memberships and renewals.
We are working on restarting our social and cultural programme as soon as possible. Stay tuned for details.

Membership Renewals
Thank you to all who have already renewed their membership for the year September 2021- August 2022. If you have not yet renewed, please do this as soon as possible.

New – Jewellery Clinic Circle
Ranches Ladies president and jewellery designer, Hayet Zerelli is planning to start a jewellery clinic circle once a month.
Bring along your old jewellery – beads, silver, gold etc. – that you no longer wear and Hayet will advise or help you change it into something you will wear again.
Last Wednesday of the month, starting on 27th October, 11am-1pm

Beginners Arabic Circle
Would you like to learn Arabic?
The Beginners Arabic Circle, led by Rana Nazer, will be meeting on Thursday mornings around 8.30am. Location to be confirmed.

Yoga Circle
Mariana has restarted yoga on Mondays and Thursdays 8.30am. Please contact for more details. The format will be 60 minutes of yoga and 30 minutes for tea and snacks.

Quilters Circle
Ranches Ladies Quilters are a group within Ranches Ladies who love creating with quilting, sewing and embroidery.
Monthly meetings are on the third Sunday of the month, currently online until further notice. There will be various activities, including inviting local and international quilting experts, to share their work and teach different techniques.
There is an additional membership fee to cover meetings and materials for Ranches Ladies Quilters. You are welcome to attend a meeting before deciding if you would like to join.

French Circle
For those who know some basic French but would like to improve and learn more, join the French Circle on Sundays from 10am. The venue varies.

Art Circle
The Art Circle, led by Rajul, meet on Thursday mornings to learn new techniques and create beautiful paintings. The venue may vary.

Literary Lunch Circle
The Literary Lunch Circle usually meet on the third Monday of the month for lunch to discuss a book they have read.
The current book is ‘A Home on Vorster Street – A Memoir’ by Razina Theba, about her life growing up in South Africa during the apartheid era. It will be discussed on Monday 11th October (date changed for this month).
All are welcome.
The book for November will be Nala’s World by Dean Nicholson.

Book Circle
The Book Circle meets on the third Sunday of each month at 10am to discuss a book which everyone has read prior to the meeting.
The book for October is ‘Would I Lie to You’ by Aliya Ali-Afzal, a tense, warm and funny and page-turning debut novel about what happens when you have your dream life – and are about to lose it. It will be discussed on 17th October.
The planned books for November and December are ‘Away With The Penguins’ by Hazel Prior, and ‘The Beauty of Living Twice’ by Sharon Stone.

Walking Fitness Circle
The walking circle are restarting from 4th October. We meet at 7.30am outside Arabian Ranches 1 retail centre main entrance. We walk for approximately one hour at a moderate, but not too slow pace, stopping back at the retail centre for coffee afterwards.
No special equipment required – just normal trainers, maybe a cap or hat and a small bottle of water.

Gardening Circle
The gardening circle are also planning to get outside in the garden from this month onwards. What better way to beat the COVID blues than seeing new life springing up!
Our program usually includes visits to nurseries, interesting gardens and parks and occasionally talks by circle members on various aspects of gardening.
We also share gardening information and sometimes photos of our successes! Whether you have green fingers or not, everyone is welcome.

Cinema Circle
The cinema circle are planning to restart on Monday mornings from 18th October. (Time depends on the film). We usually meet at Vox cinema, Mall of the Emirates (provided there’s something good to see!) and follow the film with coffee and cake/lunch.
