World Environment Day
This Saturday, 5th June, is World Environment Day and also the launch of the UN decade on ecosystem restoration.
It’s a good time to think about ways we can protect the natural environment and live a more sustainable lifestyle.
Brunch at Studio One Hotel
Studio One Hotel in Studio City have restarted their brunches on Fridays.
Tuesday Mornings
We are waiting for official approval to restart our regular Tuesday social mornings, we hope this will be possible after the summer break.
In the meantime, please pop along to LARTE restaurant in Studio One Hotel on Tuesday mornings from 10.30 – 11.30am to meet Julia or Jeanette and find out about membership and activities.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, some circle groups are meeting online or in socially distanced ways. Most groups will take a break during July and August.

Book Circle
The Book Club meets on the third Sunday of each month at 10am.
They are currently reading ‘The Midnight Library’ by Matt Haig.
The book for July will be ‘Fall of Marigolds’ by Susan Meissner.

Literary Lunch Circle
The Literary Lunch Circle continue to meet on the third Monday each month.
The June book choice is ‘The Art Forger’ by Barbara Shapiro.

Spanish Circle
The Spanish Circle has is meeting remotely until the summer break, led by Manoly.
The times of the classes are Mondays 5.30pm for intermediates and Wednesdays 11.30am for beginners
French Circle
The French Circle is up and running virtually so if you would be interested in improving your language skills get in touch with Dominique on ranches.ladies@gmail.com. Classes are held every Sunday at 10am
Yoga Circle
Pilates Circle
On Wednesday at 2pm Philippa at Optimal Fitness is holding Pilates classes and offers RL members a discount on Zumba classes on Tuesday mornings. Email her on philippa@optimalfitness.ae
