It’s been a momentous few weeks in the USA, congratulations on the new presidency to our US members.
Closer to home, free covid-19 vaccinations are available to all EID holders resident in UAE. This is the Sinopharm vaccine. Eligibility for the Pfizer vaccine, which is also available, is run by the Dubai Health Authority. Information on getting your vaccination in UAE and lists of vaccination centres can be found on http://www.dha.gov.ae and http://www.mohap.gov.ae

Walking Fitness Circle
Members of the Walking Fitness Circle meet at 7.30am outside Costa coffee at AR1 community centre every Monday. We are walking in socially distanced pairs, and walk for around an hour, finishing where we begin at Costa.

RL Quilters
The next online RL Quilters meeting will be in February. The quilter members are not just expert at quilting, they use their sewing skills for other crafts. Mandy has nearly completed this magnificent thread painting alongside her usual quilting projects

Literary Lunch Circle
The February Literary Lunch Circle book choice is the Midnight Library by Matt Haig and it will be discussed on 15 February

The next title is the international bestseller Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. This book will be discussed in February and has been a runaway word of mouth success. If you are hoping to get ahead with your reading the book circle’s March book is Night Boat to Tangier by Kevin Barry followed by Becoming from Michelle Obama

Spanish Circle
The Spanish Circle has also restarted remotely this month led by Manoly. The times of the classes are:
Mondays 5.30pm for intermediates and Wednesdays 11.30am for beginners
