RL Tuesday Social Morning
Our Social Morning will meet this week from 10.30 am in Larte Restaurant at Studio One Hotel.

RL is collaborating with Studio One Hotel and we have been invited to a special morning in Larte Restaurant from 10.30am. Please note the later start time.
RL is trying out new venues, new times and new formats to find out what people enjoy doing and to encourage as many people as possible to attend our Tuesday social mornings and new evening events.
On Tuesday next week we are trying a later time of 10.30 am at a new venue, Larte restaurant in Studio One Hotel. For 35dhs we will get coffee and cakes

RL Fashion Show: 10 February 2020
The RL Ladies In Red Fashion Show was presented in collaboration with Larte Restaurant and Studio One Hotel in Studio City last Monday night and was a roaring success!
This wonderful evening was attended by 90 guests who were treated to unlimited pizza and 2 free drinks at Larte restaurant and a marvellous fashion show. The models looked amazing and we are very grateful to L’Atelier Salon (Kojak Building, Motor City) for the wonderful hair styles and to make up artist Riri Bash (bashedbyriri@gmail.com).
Oasis Fashion, House of Colour, and Abati exhibited their beautiful clothes and Hayet Zerelli accessorised the outfits with her jewellery. Everyone looked incredible and the guests were thoroughly entertained
11 February 2020: Informal Coffee Morning
Ceri Rocca Rags to Riches
RL has a new home at Birdie’s Bar at Arabian Ranches Golf Club due to changes to the Baker Finch room. We met as usual from 9.30am and the Golf Club offered a hot beverage and croissant for 25 dhs.
Ceri Rocca of Rags to Riches gave an inspiring talk about her organisation and the wonderful work they do supplying lovingly made items from upcycled fabrics and materials.
Upcoming Social Mornings
25 February 2020: Victory Heights Coffee
RL are going on tour and we will have our usual social morning in Liz’s villa garden in Victory Heights. Meet from 9.30am and for 55 dhs enjoy a selection of beverages and delicious home made snacks. We will give more details nearer the time and also arrange some lift shares for those who need it.
We need to know numbers in advance so please let us know on ranches.ladies@gmail.com if you would like to come along. The more the merrier
01 March 2020: Road to Asia at Boho
Sunday Lunch
On Sunday 1st March at 12 midday RL will host lunch at Boho Restaurant in Studio One Hotel themed The Road to Asia. This will be 2 courses with a drink and the chef from Boho will give a cookery demonstration. He will also set a cooking competition with a great prize for the best cook, in his opinion!
Also at Boho Restaurant on the evening of Monday 9th March there will be International Ladies night hosted by RL. It will cost 119 dhs for canapés and drinks. More details to follow
The 7th International Quilt Show Dubai
27-29 February 2020
This beautiful quilt was made by our very own Quilters Circle and will be raffled for charity at the International Quilt Show on 27-29 February with all proceeds going to Dubai Cares

The Literary Lunch Circle will meet tomorrow 17th February at 12 noon to discuss Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens

The Leather Jewellery Circle led by Gaelin meets every Thursday at 10am. Gaelin supplies all the materials to make accessories and jewellery
The Cinema Circle meets every Monday morning to watch the latest films followed by coffee and a discussion
The Walking Fitness Circle is every Monday at 7am. Meet Alex outside the main entrance of Ranches community centre for a leisurely walk followed by coffee at Costa
The Scottish Dancing Circle is every Wednesday from 9.30am in the Loft. Dance the cobwebs away!
The Yoga Circle meets every Thursday at 8.30am. With walking and pilates too you can really get fit!
