RL is very happy to welcome back Yvette Judge, Education and Children’s Programme Advisor for the Festival to speak to us about The Emirates Airline Festival of Literature which takes place this year from 4-9th February
“Bringing together more than 130 of the world’s greatest writers, thinkers and doers, our programme for the 12th edition of the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature allows us to begin the search for answers to the great questions in life.
The programme is jam-packed with inspiring, fun and mind-boggling sessions that will delight and astound people of all ages. Nowhere else in the world can you hear such a diverse range of voices tackle one topic together. That’s why stories happen at the Festival.”

RL was thrilled to host Dr Jennifer Kasirsky the ever popular and renowned gynaecologist from Parkview Mediclinic Hospital.
Dr Jennifer gave her presentation to a full house with her informative, balanced but humorous guidance on the menopause and HRT. Her straight forward advice is very welcome.

RL Fashion Show: 10 February 2020
The RL Ladies In Red Fashion Show will be presented in collaboration with L’Arte and Studio One Hotel in Studio City on 10 February from 7.30pm. A 119 dhs entrance fee includes unlimited pizza and 2 free drinks
Oasis Fashion, House of Colour, and Abati will showcase their beautiful clothes and Hayet Zerelli will accessorise the outfits with her jewellery
You must contact Studio One on 04 581 6870 to book your places and pay Studio One directly on the night. Everyone is welcome including non RL members, family and friends.

The Leather Jewellery Circle led by Gaelin meets every Thursday at 10am. Gaelin supplies all the materials to make accessories and jewellery
The Cinema Circle meets every Monday morning to watch the latest films followed by coffee and a discussion
The Walking Fitness Circle is every Monday at 7am. Meet Alex outside the main entrance of Ranches community centre for a leisurely walk followed by coffee at Costa
The Scottish Dancing Circle is every Wednesday from 9.30am in the Loft. Dance the cobwebs away!
The Yoga Circle meets every Thursday at 8.30am. With walking and pilates too you can really get fit!
