RL Tuesday Social Morning
Our Social Morning will meet this week from 9.30-12 noon in Baker Finch Room at Arabian Ranches Golf Club. Please note the programme starts at 10.30 am.
1 October 2019: Spirals Hair Salon
Quick Styles Workshop
The Team from Spirals Salon will host a hands on, interactive workshop at RL Tuesday Social Morning to demonstrate a selection of “On the Run” hairstyles showing simple styling techniques on a willing volunteer. RL members will then form groups to practice the styles on each other with the guidance of a Spirals’ team member! This should be a fun programme and will be followed by a Q&A session.
Last Week’s Speaker
On Tuesday 24th September Ranches Ladies were fascinated by Christina Balhui, a registered Hypnotherapist. Her talk was about hypnosis and hypnotherapy and she debunked the common misconceptions about hypnosis and emphasised the scientifically proven benefits of hypnotherapy.
Christina is generously offering a free 20 minute consultation for all current RL members and also 15% off her hourly rate. It is definitely a good idea to speak to her about any of your concerns, from weight issues to a broken heart.

8 October 2019: Big Circles Morning
The RL Big Circles Morning is next week! All our many Circles will be showcased and you will be able to meet the Circle Leaders and sign up for any Circles you find interesting. You must be a member of Ranches Ladies to sign up for any Circles and you will be required to show your membership card.

Please volunteer as one of our Meet and Greet ladies if you have a little time once a month. You will be asked to help out at roughly one Tuesday Social Morning a month and your role will be to show new members around, explain about the Circles, find them a seat with a group and make sure they have coffee and someone to talk to. Our Big Circles Morning is nearly upon us, please come along on Tuesday 8th October to see all the activities, events, lunches and trips that are available to you as a member of Ranches Ladies. We have a circle for everyone.

This Month
The Poetry Circle will meet tomorrow afternoon from 2.30pm on 30th September and the topic will be Nature. Please bring your favourite poems about the natural world to read aloud.
The Monday Mahjong circle led by Sharron will resume tomorrow morning from 10.00am on 30th September upstairs at Shakespeare’s Cafe in AR1 community centre.
The Sunday Mahjong Circle led by Supriya will take place on Tuesday 8th October, after the Big Circles Morning, at Shakespeare’s Cafe in AR1 community centre. Please email Supriya on circles.ranches.ladies@gmail.com if you would like to come along. Lessons will be given to new players.
The Literary Lunch Circle will meet on Monday 21st October to enjoy a pot luck lunch and to discuss the book The Kitchen Canary by Joanne C Parsons. It is a short book so you may be interested to read the sequel too, The Open Door.
The Book Circle is meeting on Sunday 20th October to talk about Celestial Bodies by Jokha Alharthi. Please let Jackie know if you are coming along.
The Leather Jewellery Circle has started again, please sign up on circles.ranches.ladies@gmail.com to come along.
The Mosaic Circle meets every 2 weeks. This is a lovely craft and all the equipment and materials are supplied.
The French Circle meets twice a month on a Sunday but is currently full. If there is enough interest a second circle could be formed, please email circles.ranches.ladies@gmail.com if you would be interested.
The Cinema Circle meets every Monday, if there is a good film to see, so join the circle and get to see the best movies followed by coffee and cake. What could be better?
The Art Circles will start again in November with Elizabeth so please email on circles.ranches.ladies@gmail.com if you would like to join the Monday afternoon or Thursday morning classes from November.
