Our Social Mornings meet from 9.30-12 noon in the Baker Finch Room, Arabian Ranches Golf Club. Please note the programme starts at 10.30 am.
November 13th 2018: Festive Winter Bazaar
RL’s annual Festive Bazaar will open it’s doors on Tuesday at 9.30am. Entrance is free and everyone is welcome. Soak up the yuletide atmosphere, buy seasonal gifts from our array of stalls or just enjoy a coffee with friends.

The Golf Club has generously offered a discount to anyone attending the Bazaar on Tuesday. 30 AED for a coffee and cake for RL members and 40 AED for guests. Collect a coupon on entry and show your membership card.
Oasis Fashion (www.oasisfashiondubai.com) will be offering 30% discount to all members on the day of the Bazaar.
There is still no ATM at Arabian Ranches Golf Club so please come prepared!
Forthcoming Programmes
Tuesday 20th November – We have author Karen Osman and cake tasting with Arabian Ranches Chef Nugi.
Following on from her previous best selling success Karen’s second book The Home was recently released across all digital formats on 4th September 2018 and in paperback on 4th October published by Aria Fiction. It is another chilling read and delves into the darkness of living in a children’s home, casting a shadow over family ties and what it means to belong.
Chef Nugi will cook up a variety of sweet treats for us to try. The favourites will be served at our Tuesday Social Mornings.
Tuesday 27th November – Kinesiology specialist Amanda Savory and Just Giving introduced by Jackie Daair.
With over 2 decades as a Primary Years teacher and Educational Consultant in the UK and Middle East, Amanda’s interest in healing followed a traumatic horse riding accident. Holistic remedies and kinesiology helped her to face her fears and move forward. Amanda’s passion is using Touch for Health Kinesiology with both adults and children to achieve their full potential. Amanda is an animal lover and still a keen horse rider. She uses her skills to introduce the magic of kinesiology to animals, particularly horses, dogs and their owners.
Jackie will tell us about the rise and benefits of taking part in the annual movement #GivingTuesday.

RL’s monthly Storytelling Circle is on Monday 12th at 2.30pm in Savannah
The Gardening Circle is being hosted by Dubai Garden Centre on 22nd November. The topic is “Choosing and caring for Water Lilies and Pond Plants”. Please register your interest by email.
Next month’s book for the Literary Lunch Circle on 19th November is “The Red Sari” by Javier Moro.
The Book Circle is reading “The Second Mrs Hockaday” by Susan Rivers and meets on 18th November.
Newcomer’s Coffee will be on Thursday 29th November. Come early from 9.30-11.30am upstairs in Shakespeare’s Cafe, Arabian Ranches 1 retail centre. We welcome members, non members, established and new ladies and you don’t need to live on the Ranches. Everyone is welcome.
