Ranches Ladies Circles Morning
Our annual Circles Morning was a great success with nearly 70 ladies attending. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase all 30 Circles, for members to meet the Circle leaders and to find out more about the activities Ranches Ladies have on offer. From Art to Yoga, there really is something for everyone!
We were all impressed with the demo by Carole’s line dance circle and many of the ladies joined in a final dance, bringing the morning to a very happy conclusion. The venue at the Radisson Hotel was perfect, and the staff were extremely helpful and attentive.
A big ‘thank you’ to everyone involved in making this such a wonderful event, especially Hayet, Jackie, Josephine and all the Circle leaders. Our thanks also to all our sponsors and to Amanda for the effort she put into getting them involved.
Health and Wellbeing Coffee Morning
You are all invited to a Ranches Ladies Health and Wellbeing Coffee morning on Tuesday, 26th November 2024. More details will be shared on the RL members WhatsApp group.
Volunteers needed for Newsletter and Social Media
Ranches Ladies urgently needs volunteers for:
RL newsletter – helping to edit the newsletter. Basic IT skills only required as training will be given.
Vivienne is stepping down from this role due to other commitments and training new volunteers to take over by the end of 2024. We already have one or two volunteers but need one or two more ladies to share this task, so that it won’t take up much time for each.
RL Social Media – adding posts to Instagram and Facebook.
Mariana has been doing an excellent job with the RL social media for more than 2 years and is now looking to hand this over due to other commitments.

Dubai Fitness Challenge

During week 3 of the Challenge, Ceris has stepped back up to first place with daily average steps of over 23,000! Only one week left to go, so keep walking ladies!

Christmas Concert by Dubai Chamber Choir
Enjoy A song of peace; A Dawn of Hope; A Tale of Joy, a perfect concert to get you into the Christmas Spirit. Debra (one of our RL members) sings with the sopranos. Dubai Chamber Choir is non-profit with donations funding future concerts. There will be drinks and cake. Hope you can make it.

Hiking Circle
The Hiking Circle have restarted for the cooler months. Last week they had early start to the day while enjoying being surrounding by nature and breathing in the fresh air.

The French Circle celebrated the Birthday of Bea, head of the French Circle. Happy Birthday Bea!

Lunch Circle
Last Monday, 21 of our lovely Ladies had a pleasant lunch circle at La Niña in The DIFC, where they also celebrated the birthday of Maggie Duce.
The Lunch Circle meet around once a month to try out recommended restaurants in Dubai. The next Lunch is planned for 9th December. Details are shared on their WhatsApp group.

Art Circle
The Art Class had a lovely class last week with ladies working on various themes and beautiful paintings.
The Art Circle, led by Rajul, regularly meet in Arabian Ranches 1. Beginners classes are on Mondays from 10am to 12 noon and regular class on Thursdays from 10am to 12noon. To find out more, please email circles.ranches.ladies@gmail.com
Book Circle

Fitness Walking Circles
The Fitness Walking Circles are walking outside now that the weather has improved.
Mondays 7am – Arabian Ranches 1
Wednesdays 9am – Marina Mall starting from 20th November 2024
Both walk for approximately one hour and have tea or coffee nearby afterwards. Look forward to seeing you in the fresh air.

• Cancellations :
o Cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to tour departure is eligible for 100% refund
o Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to tour departure: eligible for 50% refund.
o Cancellations made within 24 hours tour departure will be 100% charges and not eligible for refund-NO SHOW.
• If you fail to join the experience or leave it prior to its completion, no refund can be made.
• No swapping of guests is allowed as the guest id’s will be in the record as per the company and flying requirements.
• Guest who are flying are only allowed in the takeoff area during the tour.
• If an experience is not able to commence due to inclement weather, a full refund or alternate booking date will be offered for the tour.
• No refunds will be given in the event of any reasonable delay from the guest end or alteration of a flight resulting in non-operations.
