Many of may already know that one of our long-time and active Ranches Ladies members, Lynne Haboubi, had a successful angioplasty procedure last week. Lynne is now taking some rest and recovering. Get well soon Lynne!
Photography Workshop
Nythia, who previously held a photo workshop at one our coffee mornings, would like to organise a Basics of Photography workshop in association with Nikon, if enough ladies are interested. Camera can be loaned for those who dont have one.

Tuesday Mornings
Join us for at Larte Restaurant in Studio One Hotel, Studio City (across the roundabout from the back entrance of Arabian Ranches 1) from 10.30am- 12pm. It is a great chance for existing Ranches Ladies members to catch up and for new ladies to find out about membership and activities.
We hope to be able to restart our social and cultural programme soon. Stay tuned for details.

The February Circles Calendar is now available on our website.
Trips – Afternoon Tea
15 Ranches Ladies, including 2 new members, enjoyed afternoon tea at the Holiday Inn, Al Maktoum Airport on Wednesday 9th February.
More trips to be organised in the coming months – follow this newsletter or join the RL members only WhatsApp group to be notified about future trips.
International Lunch Circle
CHANGE OF DATE: The Malaysian lunch has been postponed by a week until Monday 28th February 12- 2pm.
There are currently no spaces left. You can join a waiting list, in case anyone who has booked is unable to come.

Jewellery Clinic Circle
The next jewellery clinic will be on Wednesday 23rd February, 10.30am-12.30pm
Bring along your old jewellery – beads, silver, gold etc. – that you no longer wear and Hayet will advise or help you change it into something you will wear again.

Poetry Circle
The poetry circle meet once a month to share and discuss poems on a theme. The next meeting will be Monday 14th February 2pm and the theme is Far Eastern poetry.

Pilates Circle
The Pilates Circle has now started on Thursday afternoons 2-3pm, at Optimal Fitness in Studio City. Gillian from Optimal Fitness is teaching the class and there is space for more ladies to join.

Book Circle
The Book Circle are currently reading Elefant by Martin Suter, the international bestseller about friendship, second chances, and a tiny glow-in-the-dark pink elephant. They will meet on Friday 18th February at 9.30am.

Literary Lunch Circle
Our Literary Lunch Circle leader, Karen Searle, is leaving this month to return to the UK. We will miss her greatly and wish her all the best for her move. Thanks to Ashfaa for kindly offering to take over leading the circle.
The Literary Lunch Circle will meet on Monday 21st February (date changed) to discuss their current book ‘All The Lonely People’ by Mike Gayle, a heartwarming and funny story about loneliness and friendship.

French Circle
The French Circle decided to combine their love of learning the language with their love of French cuisine last week, at the French brasserie ‘Jolie’ in downtown Dubai.
The French Circle meet to learn and improve their French on Friday mornings. The venue varies.

Mosaics Circle
The Mosaics Circle, led by Ayesha, meet on Wednesday mornings. They are having a lot of fun creating beautiful mosaics.

The Art Circle are meeting on Thursday mornings to learn new techniques and create beautiful paintings. The venue may vary.

The Bridge circle, led by Manju, are meeting to play on Thursdays at 11am.

Yoga Circle
Mariana is teaching yoga. The days have changed to Mondays and Thursdays from 8.30am. The format is 60 minutes of yoga and 30 minutes for tea and snacks.

Walking Fitness Circle
The walking fitness circle meet on Mondays at 7.30am outside Arabian Ranches 1 retail centre main entrance. They usually walk for about an hour, with coffee afterwards back at the retail centre.

Hiking Circle
Do you like hiking? The new hiking circle are organising day hikes with a professional guide while the weather is good in various areas of the UAE. Here are some photos from their last hike.
There are hikes for both beginners and intermediate levels.
