Tuesday Mornings
If you have time on Tuesday mornings, join us for at Larte Restaurant in Studio One Hotel, Studio City (across the roundabout from the back entrance of Arabian Ranches 1) from 10.30am- 12pm. It is a great chance for existing Ranches Ladies members to catch up and for new ladies to find out about membership and activities.
We hope to be able to restart our social and cultural programme soon. Stay tuned for details.

Trips – Afternoon Tea
Allison is organising a trip to the Holiday Inn, Al Maktoum Airport, for Afternoon Tea this Wednesday 9th February.

Poetry Circle
The poetry circle meet once a month to share and discuss poems on a theme. The next meeting will be Monday 14th February 2pm and the theme is Far Eastern poetry.

Pilates Circle
The Pilates Circle has now started on Thursday afternoons 2-3pm, at Optimal Fitness in Studio City. Gillian from Optimal Fitness is teaching the class and there is space for more ladies to join.

Book Circle
The Book Circle are currently reading Elefant by Martin Suter, the international bestseller about friendship, second chances, and a tiny glow-in-the-dark pink elephant. They will meet on Friday 18th February at 9.30am.

International Lunch Circle
The next International Lunch Circle will be a Malaysian lunch, hosted by Ai Ling, with Yvonne and Sue helping with cooking. Monday 21st February 12- 2pm.
There are currently no spaces left. You can join a waiting list, in case anyone who has booked is unable to come.

Cinema Circle
The Cinema Circle meet on Monday mornings at Vox cinema in Mall of the Emirates. The time depends on the chosen film.

Literary Lunch Circle
Our Literary Lunch Circle leader, Karen Searle, is leaving this month to return to the UK. We will miss her greatly and wish her all the best for her move. Thanks to Ashfaa for kindly offering to take over leading the circle.
The Literary Lunch Circle are currently reading All The Lonely People by Mike Gayle, a heartwarming and funny story about loneliness and friendship. They will meet on Monday 28th February to discuss this book.

French Circle
For those who know some basic French but would like to improve and learn more, join the French Circle. They will restart weekly meetings on Friday mornings from 21st January. The venue varies.

The Mosaics Circle, led by Ayesha, meet on Wednesday mornings. They are having a lot of fun creating beautiful mosaics.

Yoga Circle
Mariana is teaching yoga. The days have changed to Mondays and Thursdays from 8.30am. The format is 60 minutes of yoga and 30 minutes for tea and snacks.

Walking Fitness Circle
The walking fitness circle meet on Mondays at 7.30am outside Arabian Ranches 1 retail centre main entrance. They usually walk for about an hour, with coffee afterwards back at the retail centre.

Hiking Circle
Do you like hiking? The new hiking circle are organising day hikes with a professional guide while the weather is good in various areas of the UAE. Here are some photos from their last hike.
