Tuesday Mornings
Ranches Ladies are meeting for coffee and a chat on Tuesday mornings at Larte Restaurant in Studio One Hotel, Studio City (across the roundabout from the back entrance of Arabian Ranches 1) from 10.30am- 12pm.
During December and New Year please check via the RL members WhatsApp group or ranches.ladies@gmail.com before attending, as some people are out of Dubai for the holidays.
We hope to be able to restart our social and cultural programme as soon as possible. Stay tuned for details.

Trips
Unfortunately, there were not enough people signed up for the yacht trip.
Allison is organising a lunch instead on Tuesday 21st December at The Farm Restaurant, Al Barari (A La Carte menu).

Following the first successful meeting of The International Lunch Circle, Carole is planning a lunch out at a restaurant for the January meeting.

Gardening Circle
The gardening circle had a very interesting morning learning all about how to grow and propagate succulents from Amanda Ainsworth, UAE Queen of Succulents. Many thanks to Amanda for her time and expertise and for the gifts!

Poetry Circle
The poetry circle met on Monday 29th November and had a great discussion about poems on the theme of travel.

Literary Lunch Circle
The Literary Lunch Circle will be taking a break in December. They are currently reading The Phone Box at the Edge of the World by Laura Imai Messina – this beautiful book is both a small, quiet love story and a vast expansive meditation on grieving and loss. To be discussed on Monday 17th January.

The Bridge circle, led by Manju, are meeting to play on Thursdays at 11am.

The Mahjongg Monday Circle are meeting to play on Mondays from 10am to 1pm, upstairs in Shakespeare and Co, Arabian Ranches 1.

Yoga Circle
Mariana is teaching yoga. The days have changed to Sundays and Thursdays from 8.30am. The format is 60 minutes of yoga and 30 minutes for tea and snacks.

Quilters Circle
Ranches Ladies Quilters are a group within Ranches Ladies who love creating with quilting, sewing and embroidery.
Monthly meetings are held once a month. The next meeting will be after the New Year.

Book Circle
The Book Circle meets on the third Sunday of each month at 10am to discuss a book which everyone has read prior to the meeting.
The book for December is ‘The Beauty of Living Twice’ by Sharon Stone. This will be discussed on Sunday 19th December.

Walking Fitness Circle
The walking circle meet at 7.30am outside Arabian Ranches 1 retail centre main entrance to walk for approximately one hour at a moderate, but not too slow pace, stopping back at the retail centre for coffee afterwards.

Scottish Dancing Circle
Carole is hoping to restart the Scottish Dancing Circle, which was very popular before they had to take a break due to the pandemic, on Wednesday mornings. A few more ladies are needed in order to restart.
