Ranches Ladies is still asking the CDA to approve the re-opening of RL and until we get permission we are encouraging past and new members to rejoin so that we are in a great position to start as soon as we get the go ahead

Volunteer Vacancies
It is no surprise at the moment, but unfortunately RL is seeing a lot of people leaving UAE. As a consequence RL has 2 vacancies at the moment for volunteers, with more openings coming up when RL is allowed to meet again
At the moment we need a volunteer to coordinate our Circles Programme and to help set up new circles. Jackie is always available to give some advice and the whole committee is there to help. No volunteer works alone
Sara currently writes the RL Newsletter, published every Sunday morning, updates the website and uploads RL news to Facebook. Sara is leaving Dubai in February and would like to pass on these duties with plenty of time to hand over. It sounds a bit daunting but Sara had no IT experience whatsoever when she took on the role and has just about managed to keep the show on the road for 3 years
Walking Fitness Circle
Members of the Walking Fitness Circle are meeting at 7.30am outside Costa coffee at AR1 community centre every Monday. We are walking in socially distanced pairs and walk for around an hour, finishing where we begin at Costa.

The next online RL Quilters meeting will be on 15th November but they have plenty going on with online tutorials and classes. Contact Sita on thequilterscircle@gmail.com for any quilting questions
Literary Lunch Circle
The November choice is Richard Osman’s The Thursday Murder Club. Richard is known for his quick wit and his book has been receiving very favourable reviews

Spanish Circle
The Spanish Circle is also restarting remotely this month led by Manoly. The times of the classes are:
Mondays 5.30pm for intermediates and Wednesdays 11.30am for beginners

Pilates Circle
On Wednesday at 2pm Philippa at Optimal Fitness is holding Pilates classes and offers RL members a discount on Zumba classes on Tuesday mornings. Email her on philippa@optimalfitness.ae
