Our Social Mornings meet from 9.30-12 noon in the Baker Finch Room, Arabian Ranches Golf Club. Please note the programme starts promptly at 10.30 am.

Dear Ladies,
I resigned as President of Ranches Ladies on Wed 28th August 2018 after leading it for nearly 14 years this coming December. I have enjoyed all the years working with the dedicated committee and board members, with the circle leaders, with committee assistants of all kinds and with probably thousands of members who have passed through my hands. It has been a tremendous experience for me and I have made many many wonderful friendships through this club.
I will still be an active club member running my Scottish Dance, Poetry and hopefully Knitting and Storytelling circles and belonging to several others. I wish whoever is announced as new President on Tuesday as wonderful experience as I have had and I wish all the past and present members of Ranches Ladies an enjoyable future together

Election of new President
Following the resignation of Carole as President of Ranches Ladies we need to elect a new President. Anyone wishing to stand as a candidate or request more information please send an email to Ranches.ladies@gmail.com by Tuesday 4th September at 10am. The candidates will be announced at the Ranches Ladies meeting on that day.

Welcome back to all our Ranches Ladies after the summer break. We look forward to seeing old and new members at our social meet ups on Tuesday mornings. Please come along to make friends and perhaps join some of our amazing Circles.
Our Big Circles morning is on Tuesday 25th September when you can meet our Circles Leaders and decide which Circles you would like to take part in. There are so many Circles to choose from and there are 2 prospective new Circles for you to enjoy. This is not to be missed!
Please note, you need to be a current member of Ranches Ladies to join any of our Circles. You can find out more at our Tuesday morning social occasions.
The RL committee is looking for a number of volunteers to assist our website coordinator, Sara, our trips organiser, Allison, the programme coordinator, Yvonne, and to help Lorna in setting up the room. Please speak to any member of the committee to discuss any of these roles.

- Carl’s Art Circles will resume on 10th September when he returns from his summer break
- The Scottish Dancing Circle (9.30-11am) and Singing Circle (11.20-12.20) both restart this Wednesday 5th September in the Loft.
- The Leather Jewellery Circle will meet at 12 noon on Thursday 6th September in Savannah
- The Literary Lunch will be held on Monday 17th September and the book is The Sewing Machine by Natalie Fergie. The Book Circle will meet on Sunday 16th September
- The Quilters Circle next meets on Sunday 16th September
- There are 2 new prospective Circles. The Knitting and Storytelling Circle starts on 10th September at Carole’s house at 2.30pm, and
- The new Arts and Crafts Circle led by Ritwike from the Palette Company will commence in October and will take place twice a month on 2nd and 4th Wednesday. Find out more and sign up at the Circles Morning on 25th September.
- The Mosaic Circle will continue in October on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays.
- Newcomers’ Coffee will be hosted by our circle leader Helen on 27th September. Please come along and join her at 9.30 – 11.30 upstairs at Shakespeare’s & Co at Arabian Ranches 1 Retail Centre. Everyone is welcome, not just newcomers!
- Beginner’s Bridge will restart on Monday 10th September at 2-4pm. Please sign up on the email below to join Anshu’s class.
