Clementina will tell us about Romanian traditions and celebrations

Please note Birdie’s is the venue for the coffee morning on 20th February.
The annual AGM will take place at 10.30am on Tuesday. If 50% of the membership is not present then the AGM will be postponed until 27th February.
Thank you to the Desert Palm Hotel and Covent Garden Dance Company for loaning us Mara Galeazzi their Principal Dancer to talk about her life as a ballet dancer last Tuesday. It was a special programme enjoyed by all and enhanced by Lorna’s beautifully decorated room for Valentine’s Day.

Newcomers Coffee will be on Thursday 22^nd February at Shakespeare and Co. Arabian Ranches Retail Centre, 9.30-11.30am. Everyone is welcome!
Photography Circle continues on Sunday 18^th February at 10am with Barry Lake at Shakespeare and Co, Arabian Ranches Retail Centre.
March’s Poetry Circle at Carole’s will be 2.30pm Monday 26th March, the topic is Spring.
Pilates Circle is starting with Phillipa at Optimal Fitness on Wednesday 21^st February 2-3pm. Preferential rates, easy parking (free for 2 hours) and a lovely café. Those who have shown an interest should already have received an email from Phillipa.
Gardening Circle will be on Sunday 18th March with a trip to see Laila’s garden on the Palm and discuss how we propagate cuttings.
Beginners Bridge Circle. Anshu is offering a second Beginners Bridge Circle for anyone wishing to start with a new Circle in March. The established Tuesday group will still continue.
Sunday 18th February, today, is our monthly Book Circle.
Monday 19th February is the monthly Literary Lunch – the book under discussion will be The Bridge Ladies by Betsy Lerner.
