Last week was nothing short of magical as we embraced the spirit of Valentine’s with joy, warmth, and togetherness! From the very first day, the air was filled with love, laughter, and heartfelt connections, making every moment special.

Every gathering was a celebration of love in all its forms—self-love, sisterhood, and the bonds that uplift us. Whether it was sharing a kind word, exchanging thoughtful gestures, or simply being there for one another, this Valentine’s week reminded us that love isn’t just a feeling—it’s an experience we create together.

Valentine’s Day with a Twist — Yoga, Love & Inner Peace! 🧘♀️💖
This Valentine’s Day, we embraced love in its purest form — by nurturing our minds, bodies, and souls through a special Yoga Valentine’s celebration. It was a day dedicated not just to romantic love, but to self-love, balance, and inner harmony.
The session began with gentle stretches and heart-opening poses, symbolizing the importance of loving ourselves first. As we flowed through each movement, there was a sense of unity and calmness in the air — a reminder that love starts from within. 🌿
Surrounded by a circle of strong, supportive women of ranches ladies 14 members showed up for this workshop help by Yoga leader circle “Mariana”, we focused on breathing in positivity and exhaling stress, creating a space where both our hearts and minds could feel light and free.
We wrapped up the celebration with moments of gratitude and reflection, cherishing not just the bonds we share with others, but the relationship we have with ourselves. Because true love is not only about others — it’s about honoring and caring for our own well-being. 💛
It was more than a yoga session — it was a beautiful reminder that self-love is the foundation of all love. Here’s to hearts full of peace, strength, and joy! ✨

A Night of Togetherness: Pre-Ramadan Iftar Gathering
Under the golden hues of the setting sun, a beautiful gathering of ladies came together for a heartwarming Pre-Ramadan Iftar at Jackie’s enchanting garden. Dressed in elegant traditional attire, the atmosphere was filled with warmth, unity, and a deep sense of togetherness.
As the call to prayer marked the beginning of Iftar, we eased into a delightful evening, starting with a variety of comforting soups and refreshing drinks. The main course was a true feast, offering a rich tapestry of flavors from around the world—Tunisian, Egyptian, Lebanese, Sri Lankan, Indian, Pakistani, and more—each dish reflecting the diverse cultural heritage of our community.
A highlight of the evening was Ashfa’s insightful talk on the four stages of Ramadan, shedding light on the spiritual journey shared by Muslims worldwide during this sacred month. Her words resonated deeply, fostering reflection and connection among the attendees.
The night continued with a spread of exquisite desserts, each a sweet tribute to the many traditions represented at the gathering. As the garden twinkled with soft lights and the sound of laughter and conversation filled the air, there was a true sense of belonging—a beautiful reminder of the spirit of Ramadan.
A heartfelt thank you to Carol for organizing, Jackie for hosting, and to all the wonderful ladies who contributed their culinary talents to make this evening so special. Also many thanks to Rajul for all the lovely photos and videos. Moments like these remind us of the beauty of community, generosity, and shared traditions.

“New Circle – Creative Writing Circle !!”
The Creative Writing Circle welcomes writers of all stages and genres: fiction, poetry, screenwriting, non-fiction, etc.
Meetings will be held each Thursday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on ZOOM, but on the LAST Thursday of the month, the meeting will be IN PERSON (location to be determined).
During the ZOOM meetings, you will share your draft using the share function and read ten minutes aloud. This exercise is greatly helpful in developing your voice and catching changes you’d like to make. After your reading, you will receive appreciation and feedback. If you don’t have a draft yet, you may use your ten minutes to talk about your writing, share an outline, etc.
On the LAST Thursday during the IN PERSON meeting we will respond to writing prompts and share our impromptu scribbles – all in the name of good fun. So, bring paper, pen, or a laptop.
