First Afternoon Tea of 2025
Savoring the Charm of Afternoon Tea at The Kempinski in Central Avenue. The LitFest is Back!

International Festive Food Circle –
Dutch Lunch
On Thursday 9th January, we had the pleasure of attending an International Dutch Lunch hosted by Martine, Mirjam, and Nancy, which was a truly delightful cultural experience. The event beautifully showcased Dutch culture with its elegant decor, an engaging and informative video, and a delicious spread of traditional dishes. Adding to the festivities, we enjoyed playing Dutch games that brought everyone together in the spirit of joy and camaraderie. A highlight of the afternoon was the enchanting dance performance by Carole and Aditi to “Little Dutch Boy and Little Dutch Girl,” which sparkled the gathering with energy and happiness. The thoughtful gesture of personalized goodie bags, featuring customized mugs with each guest’s name in Arabic calligraphy, added a special touch.

The Cinema Circle, led by Marina, meet on Mondays at Mall of the Emirates (provided there’s something good to see!) and often meet for coffee or lunch before or after the film. They have a Whatsapp and email group to decide on the film.

Walking Circles
Walking is a great way to get fit, make friends and enjoy the beautiful weather in the cooler months. Join the Walking Circles this New Year.
