Merry Christmas to all Ranches Ladies. We hope you have a special time over this festive season, whether travelling or in Dubai, with family or friends.
Festive Table Centrepiece Workshop
On Wednesday 18th December 2024, a group of 25 Ranches Ladies made their way to the Larte terrace at Studio One Hotel for a morning of artistic creation. Despite the grey clo
uds in the sky suggesting rain was on its way, only a little came our way as florist company Gorgeous Flowers was setting up. We were set for a colorful festive morning!
We built our creations step by step under the watchful guidance of the Gorgeous Flowers team, using a range of fresh green foliage, Nobilis, Conifer and Pine to decorate our oasis base. The team made sure we left with creations nothing short of special, reminding us to fill in the gaps between the foliage with Pine Cones, Bunny Tails, Fluffy Eillow, Ilex Berries, Cotton, Lotus Heads, Cinnamon Sticks, Whole and Sliced Dried Oranges. Once we had the foliage set, we adorned our centerpieces with a wide range of additional decorations of various colours including baubles, ribbons, Santa hats and some gold and silver sprays. No two creations were the same, all individual works of art to enjoy.
Once we finished the workshop we enjoyed tea/coffee and some sweets treats, baked by the Larte chef. Ladies were generously treated and took home a gift of a beautifully individually presented box with Chocolate sponsored by Chocolatier company, Xocolatl. We also took home tasty Mincepies gifted by Spinneys.

Christmas Lunch – Mahjong, Canasta and Shanghai Circles
The ladies from, the Mahjong, Canasta and Shanghai Circles had a joint festive lunch, organised by Sharon. Ladies played quiz, sang carols at Park Inn Motor City.
RL Tuesday Coffee Morning at Larte
A great turnout at the RanchesLadies coffee morning with around 20 ladies all together coming and going at various times throughout the morning.
Ranches Ladies weekly coffee morning is at Larte Restaurant in Studio One Hotel, Studio City on each Tuesday throughout December 2024. We would love to see you there!

Volunteers needed for Newsletter and Social Media
Ranches Ladies needs volunteers for:
RL newsletter – helping to edit the newsletter. Basic IT skills only required as training will be given.
Vivienne is stepping down from this role due to other commitments and training new volunteers to take over by the end of 2024. We already have one or two volunteers but need one or two more ladies to share this task, so that it won’t take up much time for each.
RL Social Media – adding posts to Instagram and Facebook.
Mariana has been doing an excellent job with the RL social media for more than 2 years and is now looking to hand this over due to other commitments. We already have one volunteer but another could help to share this task.

Afternoon Tea Circle – Festive Afternoon Tea
Ladies had festive afternoon tea at Plato’s in The Atlantis, attention to detail was outstanding, the selection of sandwiches and cakes was amazing with a few extras thrown in. Atlantis hospitality was top notch and ladies enjoyed every bit of it.
Art Circle
Art Circle is back in a live mood again painting some really extraordinary outstanding paintings
The Art Circle, led by Rajul, regularly meet in Arabian Ranches 1. Beginners classes are on Mondays from 10am to 12 noon and regular class on Thursdays from 10am to 12noon. To find out more, please email circles.ranches.ladies@gmail.com
Poetry Circle
Poetry Circle discussed poetry from famous poets of their own country. There were so many beautiful and meaningful poetries that everyone enjoyed their session and took a piece of learning from each other.
The poetry circle are meeting once a month on Monday afternoons, to share and discuss poems on a theme.

Story Telling Circle
The storytelling circle had a fun time and shared comedy stories that happened in their life, it went from smiling to big laughs and everyone left in a happy mood. The next storytelling circle theme is Mystery stories, we are sure it’s going to be interesting and entertaining.

Walking Fitness Circle
The Arabian Ranches walk on Mondays will continue during December if people are in Dubai and want to walk. Meet at 7am outside the AR1 Community Centre. Contact Josephine or email circles.ranches.ladies @ gmail.com
International Festive Food Circle
The next International Festival Food Circle will be a Dutch Lunch, planned for Thursday 9th January (see poster for more details).

Pilates Circle
Pilates with Gillian at Optimal Fitness is a great way to keep your bones strong and strengthen your core muscles. Classes are on Mondays 10.30-11.30am and on Thursday afternoons 2-3pm, at Optimal Fitness in Studio City. Advanced booking needed to secure a place. New ladies welcome.

• Cancellations :
o Cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to tour departure is eligible for 100% refund
o Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to tour departure: eligible for 50% refund.
o Cancellations made within 24 hours tour departure will be 100% charges and not eligible for refund-NO SHOW.
• If you fail to join the experience or leave it prior to its completion, no refund can be made.
• No swapping of guests is allowed as the guest id’s will be in the record as per the company and flying requirements.
• Guest who are flying are only allowed in the takeoff area during the tour.
• If an experience is not able to commence due to inclement weather, a full refund or alternate booking date will be offered for the tour.
