Ranches Ladies honoured for contributions to community life in Dubai
HE Hessa Bint Essa Humaid the Director General of the CDA with Hayet Zerelli the current President of Ranches Ladies and Carole Binbrek the Honorary President of Ranches Ladies
On Monday evening, December 9th 2024, Hayet Zerelli, the current President of Ranches Ladies, and Carole Binbrek, the Honorary President and founder of Ranches Ladies, were invited by H.E. Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid, the Director General of the Community Development Authority (CDA), to attend Ethraa, an Empowerment Program for Non-Profit Associations, at Emirates Towers. During this prestigious event, the top 25 Non-Profit Associations in Dubai were honored and personally thanked by Her Highness for their contributions to improving life in Dubai. Ranches Ladies were the only Ladies Club to be included in these 25 associations.
Ranches Ladies were very happy to receive this honour and many RL members have shared their appreciation of being part of this wonderful community.
Founded 19 years ago by Carole Binbrek, Ranches Ladies has been under the expert guidance of the CDA for the past 12 years. This award is a tribute to all RL members, past and present, who have played a vital role in building our wonderful community, especially all the committee members, circle leaders and volunteers in different roles. Thank you for your commitment and for being the heart of Ranches Ladies.
International Festive Food Circle’s Christmas Coffee Morning
Host Mirjana in her beautiful Home
Nine Ranches ladies attended the International Festival Food Circle’s Christmas coffee morning at the beautiful home of Mirjana on Thursday morning. Everyone brought Christmas goodies from their home countries and we enjoyed trying different foods. Many Thanks to Mirjana for offering her home for this annual event.
Festive Table Centrepiece Workshop
Enhance your home with a special Centrepiece this festive. Peal the bells, louder and deeper, be prepared for Christmas for the season festivities. Any last minute members are welcome to join in this workshop under the guidance of staff from Gorgeous Flowers on Wednesday, 18th December 2024.

Tuesday Coffee Morning
Ranches Ladies weekly coffee morning is at Larte Restaurant in Studio One Hotel, Studio City on each Tuesday throughout December 2024. We would love to see you there!
Volunteers needed for Newsletter and Social Media
Ranches Ladies needs volunteers for:
RL newsletter – helping to edit the newsletter. Basic IT skills only required as training will be given.
Vivienne is stepping down from this role due to other commitments and training new volunteers to take over by the end of 2024. We already have one or two volunteers but need one or two more ladies to share this task, so that it won’t take up much time for each.
RL Social Media – adding posts to Instagram and Facebook.
Mariana has been doing an excellent job with the RL social media for more than 2 years and is now looking to hand this over due to other commitments. We already have one volunteer but another could help to share this task.

Lunch Circle
Lunch Circle :- The ladies lunch Circle had a lovely time on Monday at TOTO restaurant downtown

Line Dancing Circle
Wednesday Line Dance: – Christmas in Killarney, Advanced Line dancing circle tapped their toes celebrating Xmas vibes on Christmas carols
Friday Line dance: – celebrated Xmas carols and line dancing
Hiking Circle
Hiking Circle: – The Hiking Circle are making the most of the cooler months to get out of the city and enjoy the natural beauty of the UAE. Days and times vary.

Walking Fitness Circle
Walking Circle : Last Marina walk for 2024 with new lady Shelley.
The Arabian Ranches walk on Mondays will continue during December if people are in Dubai and want to walk. Contact Josephine or email circles.ranches.ladies @ gmail.com
International Festive Food Circle
The next International Festival Food Circle will be a Dutch Lunch, planned for Thursday 9th January (see poster for more details).

Art Circle
The Art Circle, led by Rajul, regularly meet in Arabian Ranches 1. Beginners classes are on Mondays from 10am to 12 noon and regular class on Thursdays from 10am to 12noon. To find out more, please email circles.ranches.ladies@gmail.com
French Circle
The French Circle, for those who know some French but would like to learn more, is led by Bea Sion and meet on Monday mornings, 10am to 12pm.

Pilates Circle
Pilates with Gillian at Optimal Fitness is a great way to keep your bones strong and strengthen your core muscles. Classes are on Mondays 10.30-11.30am and on Thursday afternoons 2-3pm, at Optimal Fitness in Studio City. Advanced booking needed to secure a place. New ladies welcome.
