Happy 53rd National Day UAE

Good morning Ranches Ladies! UAE National Day is celebrated on the 2nd of December. In 1971, six of the Trucial States (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Umm al-Quwain, Ajman, and Fujairah) agreed on a Federal Constitution and became the United Arab Emirates, with Ras Al Khaimah soon becoming the seventh emirate of the UAE. The 53rd UAE National Day 2024, celebrated today, is a day of happiness throughout the United Arab Emirates.
The future UAE National Day will be celebrated as an International Day of the Future as per the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
Congratulations to the UAE, a country who proved to the world its excellency and development in every single aspect. We are lucky to call this country our home.

December is here: warm moments, gatherings, tree decorating, and enjoying the season together.
Enjoy the company of loved one, and be grateful for the love you have! Hope you have a great week ahead.

YOUR PATH TO LONGEVITY: Insights from Dr. Emslie’s Talk
Last Tuesday, the Ranches Ladies had the pleasure of hosting an enlightening session about longevity, presented by Dr. Emslie, a specialist in longevity and wellness in order to explore the latest advancements in personalised health and proactive aging.
The talk, delivered with a perfect blend of expertise and approachability, revolved around the cutting-edge tools and strategies available to assess and optimise health as we age. Dr. Emslie emphasised the importance of viewing longevity not simply as adding years to life but as adding quality to those years. From genetics and hormones to detoxification and overall radiance, the session covered a holistic spectrum of factors contributing to a vibrant, healthy life.
Key highlights of the event included:
Personalised health optimisation: Attendees learned about some strategies for improving their well-being, from blood tests and lifestyle assessments to actionable tips that align with their unique health profiles.
Hormonal health: Dr. Emslie spoke about the pivotal role hormones play in women’s wellness and how imbalances can impact energy, mood, and long-term health. The attendees gained insights into actionable steps to restore and maintain hormonal harmony.
The Femgene Pathway: One of the aspects of the session was the discussion on genomics. Through this innovative pathway, women can gain insights into their genetic blueprint, understanding how it influences their health and how they can work with their bodies to thrive.
Dr. Emslie also guided participants through a self-assessment to help them reflect on their current habits and their impact on potential health outcomes. The interactive nature of this segment sparked engaging discussions, sharing some personal experiences and aspirations for better health.
Takeaways for a healthier you
One of the most inspiring messages from the talk was the reminder that small, consistent actions can lead to profound changes. Whether it’s testing vitamin D levels, committing to more movement, or embracing nourishing foods, the path to longevity starts with mindful choices.
The event also underscored the importance of building a support network. Surrounding ourselves with like-minded, positive individuals helps us stay motivated and engaged in our wellness journeys. As Dr. Emslie aptly put it, “Longevity isn’t just about living longer; it’s about living better.”
The Ranches Ladies community is deeply grateful to Dr. Emslie for sharing her wealth of knowledge and to Yulia Mintchin Founder and CEO at Willbe, the organisers of this insightful talk, for their commitment to women’s health. We look forward to future sessions that inspire and empower us to take charge of our well-being.

Tuesday Coffee Morning

Come join us on Tuesdays from 10.30am to have a good time and a cup of coffee at LARTE Studio Hotel. We would love to see you there!
Giving Tuesday 3rd Dec

Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. It is celebrated worldwide every year on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
Acts of care, love, and understanding extend outward, like the threads of a beautiful tapestry. Whether it’s offering a kind smile, a helping hand, or an hour of your time—these acts have a way of rippling out, becoming part of something much greater. That is the power of radical generosity.
At our talk on Longevity last week, our speaker identified having friends and being part of a community as a significant factor in living a longer, healthier and happier life.
You can be part of this movement by volunteering your time to support RL, taking part in our activities and offering a friendly welcome to new members.
