What is Love?

Is love romantic or platonic?
Is it a passing phase or iconic?
Love could be for a parent, sibling, spouse, or child
Friends and relatives are not left behind
The person you love may be far or near
The presence in your heart you hold so dear
When you connect with someone and feel at ease
The love is genuine and you are at peace
The feeling is that of concern and care
Suddenly you feel you have found someone rare
You experience lasting ecstasy and joy
Every moment with that person you begin to enjoy
Love starts overflowing in your heart
You form a bond from the very start
Someone understands you and is always there
All your feelings now you can share
You can talk about your worries and fears
Laugh aloud or break down in tears
All the challenges in life you can face
Live each moment with dignity and grace
You feel happy, cheerful and bright
Your troubles seem small and your heart feels light
A feeling of fulfillment dawns upon you
With love in your heart, the world begins anew
There is love for all and in all you do
See God in me and God in you

Coffee Morning Presentation
Tuesday 11th June 2024
Ranches Ladies will be holding a special Coffee Morning Health & Wellbeing Presentation with Muriël from Balanced Space, on Tuesday, 11th June at Studio One Hotel, 2nd floor meeting room.
Craniosacral therapy is an alternative, noninvasive treatment that may help you relieve symptoms, especially pain. A trained healthcare provider will gently place their hands on your head, neck and back to alleviate tension.
Tea and coffee will be available, please bring cash in small notes for this.

Aquafit Circle
Last Friday, the AquaFit ladies enjoyed a “cool” workout before the weekend !!
Dayle is teaching Aquafit on Wednesdays and Fridays at 8.30am in Savannah, Arabian Ranches 1.

In the Decoupage Circle, Ayesha and Jackie finished their decoupage trays with Randa’s patient assistance.
The Decoupage Circle meet Thursday mornings, 10am – 1pm in Arabian Ranches.

Art Circle
The Art Circle, led by Rajul, had a lovely class last Thursday, with ladies working on different themes.

The Yoga circle, led by Mariana, are now meeting on Tuesdays and Fridays at 8.15am.

Fitness Walking Circle
The Fitness Walking Circle have moved inside for the hotter months. New ladies are always welcome to join.
Meet 9am sharp on Mondays at Dubai Hills Mall outside Marks and Spencer’s. Closest parking is via Entrance E, Sharaf DG Parking P1. We walk for around one hour and have coffee afterwards at Marks & Spencer’s coffee shop.

The Pilates Circle meet on Thursday afternoons 2-3pm, at Optimal Fitness in Studio City. Gillian from Optimal Fitness is teaching the class. New ladies welcome.

Marina Fitness Walking Circle
The Marina Fitness Walking Circle had a great walk in Ibn Battuta Mall last Wednesday. All are welcome to join there on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. On alternate weeks (1st/3rd/5th of month) they meet at Mall Of The Emirates instead. They intend to continue throughout the summer apart from a couple of weeks which will be announced in advance.

The Crochet Circle, led by Debra, meet on Tuesdays from 12.30-2.30pm. New members are welcome.

The Literary Lunch Circle are reading ‘Maybe in another life’ by Taylor Jenkins Reid, and they plan to meet on Monday 24th June to discuss this. New members welcome.

The Book Circle are reading ‘Behold the Dreamers’ by Imbolo Mbue – a powerful and timely story of marriage, class, race and the pursuit of the American Dream.
