Sharjah Light Festival
For the thirteenth year, the Sharjah Light Festival will illuminate the Emirate from February 07 – 18, 2024. The world’s most acclaimed light festival combines local talent and internationally renowned artists. The Sharjah Light Festival (SLF) attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors yearly who come to be astonished by the specially composed music, artistic ingenuity and technical skills of the masters who curate the stunning illuminations onto the splendid landmarks of Sharjah.

Camel Racing in Dubai
It’s Camel Racing Season! Experience this traditional sport at Dubai Camel Racing Club. The Camel Racing Club is in Marmoom, off the E66 Dubai-Al Ain Road, about 5km beyond the Rugby Sevens stadium.

Arte – The Makers’ Market

Mindful moments for our not so little ones!
Here’s an opportunity to help your kids discover the power of meditation.

Last Tuesday we had another busy coffee morning at Larte, Studio One Hotel, with ladies laughing and chattering. So nice Ranches Ladies have members from all walks of life come along.

Lunch Circle
Last Monday 5th February, the Lunch Circle enjoyed another great lunch at The Guild Restaurant, in IDC Brookfield Place, DIFC. Sophisticated place with very professional staff! Excellent food again! Highly recommended!
The next lunch is planned for Monday 26th February at Cafe Belge at Ritz Carlton, Gate Village DIFC. A place we have visited last year and loved it!

Art Circle
Ladies in the Art Circle are working on a common project & some of them have completed it with beautiful results.

Canasta Circle

New: Decoupage Circle
Randa Khazem has started a new Decoupage Circle on Thursday mornings. Ayesha has been trying something different at Decoupage this week, using fabric on canvas!
Decoupage is every Thursday from 10am – 1pm in Randa’s home in Arabian Ranches.

The Book Circle are currently reading ‘Prophet Song’ by Paul Lynch.

Walking Fitness Circle
The Walking Circle are enjoying early morning walks on Mondays.
Meet on Monday mornings at 7am outside the main entrance of Arabian Ranches 1 community shopping centre.
We will walk for approximately 1 hour 20 mins depending on route and distance. Stay for tea/coffee afterwards back at the community centre if you have time. New ladies are welcome to join.
