Asado Sunset Brunch at Dubai Polo Club
Last weekend some members were invited to experience the launch of the Asado Sunset Brunch at the Dubai Polo Club.
Asado is the name for traditional a Argentinian barbeque. The event featured a delectable spread of gourmet dishes and the ambiance at the Polo Club provided the perfect backdrop for us to enjoy a leisurely Saturday afternoon, a blend of sophistication with a relaxed atmosphere. The sound of clinking glasses and cheerful conversations filled the air as guests enjoyed a leisurely meal, complemented by the lush greenery and the beautiful sunset.
The Asado Sunset Brunch is every Saturday 5pm to 8pm at the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club, next to Studio City, and is highly recommended.
Tuesday Mornings
There was a great turnout at our Ranches Ladies coffee morning on Tuesday 30th January in Larte, Studio One Hotel, with 30 ladies mingling together. Randa Kazem also brought along a small display of her decoupage work to show us.
Decoupage is our newest Ranches Ladies Circle on offer (see more details below).

New: Decoupage Circle
Randa Khazem has started a new Decoupage Circle.
Last Thursday, Ayesha and Jackie had a lovely introduction to decoupage with Randa and were delighted to each make a beautiful piece in the first session! Randa will be holding regular classes on Thursday mornings from 10am to 1pm.

Art Circle
The ladies in the Art Circle have been doing some wonderful work.

Yoga Circle
Keep Fit with Yoga!
The Yoga circle, led by Mariana, are now meeting on Tuesdays and Fridays at 8.15am.

The Spanish Circle is on Thursdays at 10.30am in Larte, Studio One Hotel, Studio City. Maria will be teaching for beginners or those who already know a little Spanish.

Last week, the Hiking Circle enjoyed a great hike around Sherri Village in Ras Al Khaimah.

The Book Circle are currently reading ‘Prophet Song’ by Paul Lynch. They plan to meet to discuss this on Friday 16th February from 9.30am at Arabian Ranches Golf Club Restaurant. New members welcome.

Literary Lunch Circle
The Literary Lunch Circle are currently reading ‘The Vanishing of Margaret Small,’ an uplifting and page-turning mystery by Neil Alexander. They plan to meet for lunch on Monday 19th February at 12.30pm to discuss this book. New members are welcome.
The book for March will be ‘Women who run with the wolves’ by Clarissa Pinkola Estes.

Walking Fitness Circle
The Walking Circle are enjoying early morning walks on Mondays.
Meet on Monday mornings at 7am outside the main entrance of Arabian Ranches 1 community shopping centre.
We will walk for approximately 1 hour 20 mins depending on route and distance. Stay for tea/coffee afterwards back at the community centre if you have time. New ladies are welcome to join.

Cinema Circle
The Cinema Circle, led by Marina, meet on Mondays at Mall of the Emirates (provided there’s something good to see!) and often meet for coffee or lunch before or after the film. They have a Whatsapp and email group to decide on the film.
