No More Plastic Bags
Don’t forget to take your reusable bag when shopping. It helps to keep some bags in your car ready for whenever you are going out.
Single-use plastic bags have been banned in Dubai shops since January 1, 2024.
This is part of a city-wide initiative to totally phase out single use products, announced by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, as the emirate seeks to be more environmentally friendly.

Lunch Circle
Last Monday, the Ranches Ladies Lunch Circle had another amazing lunch at La Niña Spanish Restaurant in ICD Brookfield Place, DIFC. They enjoyed the beautiful restaurant decor, exceptional food and service, and great company, meeting friends old and new. The ambience was lovely and it was great to sit outside in the perfect weather. La Niña is worth a visit and highly recommended.
Their next lunch is planned for Monday 5th February, at The Guild Restaurant, also in IDC Brookfield Place, DIFC.

Ranches Ladies Quilters, led by Saba Asim, are a group within Ranches Ladies who love creating with quilting, sewing and embroidery.

The Cinema Circle, led by Marina, meet on Mondays at Mall of the Emirates (provided there’s something good to see!) and often meet for coffee or lunch before or after the film. They have a Whatsapp and email group to decide on the film.
