Good Morning Ranches Ladies. We hope that you are having a great long weekend for National Day.
We celebrate the amazing progress and development of this country during the last 52 years and look forward to the future. The United Arab Emirates welcomes people from all over the world and we are thankful to be living in such a peaceful, well-governed country.
Trip to Bean & Beyond Mushroom Farm

The Gardening Circle enjoyed a very interesting visit to Bean & Beyond mushroom farm and learnt all about growing oyster mushrooms using waste coffee grounds from local coffee shops. Amamika, the owner and driving force behind the farm, gave us a very informative talk and tour after which we got to taste the delicious mushrooms ( cooked in butter and garlic😋). We also had the opportunity to make our own grow kits and Anamika gave us detailed instructions of how to grow our own mushrooms at home. We had a great morning and were all inspired by Anamika’s enthusiasm, knowledge and determination!

Christmas Coffee Morning
Christmas Choral Concert – 8th December
Enjoy an evening of Christmas Music and carol singing on Friday 8th of December at Christ Church, Jebel Ali. One of our members, Debra Dixon, is singing in the choir.
The concert is free, no booking required. Voluntary donations welcome for the church. Refreshments will be available.
Tuesday Mornings
Ranches Ladies are meeting on Tuesday mornings at Larte Restaurant in Studio One Hotel, Studio City from 10.30am – 12pm.
Please note:
There is no coffee morning on Tuesday 12th December due to the Festive Centre Tablepiece Workshop at Larte (this is now fully booked).
There is no meeting at Larte on Tuesday 19th December due to Carole’s Christmas Coffee Morning in Savannah. Ranches 1.

RL Circles News
Some Circles may be taking a break over the holidays.
There is no Aquafit from 20th December until after New Year.
The Canasta Circle are not meeting on the 21st or 28th December.

Walking Fitness Circle
The Walking Circle are enjoying early morning walks on Mondays.
Meet on Monday mornings at 7am outside the main entrance of Arabian Ranches 1 community shopping centre.
We will walk for approximately 1 hour 20 mins depending on route and distance. Stay for tea/coffee afterwards back at the community centre if you have time. New ladies are welcome to join.

Quilters Circle
Ranches Ladies Quilters are a group within Ranches Ladies who love creating with quilting, sewing and embroidery.
They usually meet once a month. This month, they are not having their regular meeting but have planned a lunch for Monday 11th December.

Yoga Circle
The Yoga circle are now meeting on Tuesdays and Fridays at 8.15am for outdoor yoga in Alvorada 2.
The Yoga circle members are going to receive a complimentary face yoga and face lifting massage technique training every Friday after the regular Hatha yoga session.

Poetry Circle
The Poetry Circle are meeting on Monday 11th December from 2.30pm, to share and discuss poems on the theme of Christmas.

Crochet Circle
The Crochet Circle, led by Debra, have been making napkin rings for Christmas.
They meet on Tuesdays from 12.30-2.30pm. New members are welcome.

The Storytelling Circle meet once a month at Carole’s place in Savannah, Arabian Ranches 1, to share stories on a theme. The theme for the next meeting on Wednesday 13th December is the Festive Season.

Jewellery Clinic Circle

The Mosaics Circle ladies have been creating some beautiful work, thanks to Ayesha’s guidance.
The Mosaics Circle meet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9.30am to 1pm.
