Tuesday Mornings

Ranches Ladies are meeting every Tuesday morning at Larte Restaurant in Studio One Hotel, Studio City from 10.30am – 12pm. Join us this Tuesday.

If you have not yet renewed your membership for the year 2023-24 you can do this on Tuesday morning at Larte Cafe, Studio One Hotel. Membership is required for RL activities and WhatsApp group. New members are also welcome to join.

Circles Morning – 11th October

Ranches Ladies Circle Morning, on 11th October, was a great success with nearly 70 ladies taking part. Representatives from all our Circles were on hand to talk about the activities on offer. We now have 26 different circles so there’s something for everyone! Coincidentally, Tuesday was also World Mental Health Day and what better way to maintain and improve one’s mental health than being part of a vibrant and friendly community like Ranches Ladies!
My thanks to the Circle Leaders for all the effort that goes into running their circles, to Josephine for organising everything so efficiently with Larte and to Lisa for handling registration and membership .
The staff at Larte also deserve a mention for their help in setting up the room and coping with the larger than expected turn out!
We had suggestions for at least two possible new circles so look out for information in the newsletter!

Do you, or someone you know, have skills for refreshing or updating websites? Ranches ladies is looking for a volunteer to help with our website. Knowledge of WordPress would be an advantage, but training can be given. Please email ranches.ladies@gmail.com

Ranches Ladies Quilters

Last week, the Quilters Circle had an interesting guest speaker, Stephanie Neville, at their meeting. The ladies showcased their innovative summer challenge projects made from leftover fabric selvage strips.

Ranches Ladies Quilters are a group within Ranches Ladies who love creating with quilting, sewing and embroidery.

They usually meet once a month, on the third Monday of the month.

Literary Lunch Circle

The Literary Lunch Circle had a great time discussing the novel ‘All My Rage’ by Sabaa Tahir at Cheesecake Factory in The Mall of the Emirates last week.

Their next book is ‘Yellow Face’ by R.F. Kuang. They plan to meet to discuss this over lunch on Tuesday 21st November at Arabian Ranches Golf Club restaurant.

Jewellery Clinic Circle

The next Jewellery Clinic Open House and Open House is scheduled for this Thursday, 26th October, from 11am. Call or Whatsapp Hayet +971 50 262 77713 if you would like to come.

Walking Fitness Circle

The Walking Fitness Circle and continuing walking indoors this month but plan to move back outside from November. New ladies are always welcome to join.

Meet 9am sharp on Mondays at Dubai Hills Mall outside Marks and Spencer’s. Closest parking is via Entrance E, Sharaf DG Parking P1. We walk for one hour and have coffee afterwards at Marks & Spencer’s coffee shop.

Art Circle

The Art Circle had a lovely class last Thursday, with ladies working on some interesting themes & learning new techniques.

The Art Circle, led by Rajul, meet on Thursdays 10am to 12 noon. New members are welcome.

The new Canasta Circle, led by Farah, is starting from this week on Thursday mornings from 11 – 2pm.

Dayle is teaching Aquafit on Wednesdays and Fridays at 8.30am in Savannah, Arabian Ranches 1. 💦 ALL AGES & ALL LEVELS OF FITNESS WELCOMED.

The Pilates Circle meet on Thursday afternoons 2-3pm, at Optimal Fitness in Studio City. Gillian from Optimal Fitness is teaching the class. New ladies welcome.
