Tuesday Mornings

Ranches Ladies are meeting every Tuesday morning for coffee at Larte Restaurant in Studio One Hotel, Studio City from 10.30am – 12pm. It is a great chance to catch up, join or renew your membership and find out about membership and activities.

Membership Renewals

Membership renewals for the year 2023-24 have started. New members also welcome to join.

Please come along to Larte Cafe, Studio One Hotel in Studio City, on any Tuesday morning from 10.30am to renew your membership. New members are welcome.

Please bring completed membership form, your Emirates ID (or passport if non-resident) and fee of 120 AED (exact amount much appreciated).

If you are unable to get to Larte on Tuesday morning to do your renewal, you can ask a friend to bring your form, copy of your ID and membership fee.

RL Circles News

Here are some of the current Circles activities.

This is not a full list. See the Circles Calendar for September on the website for more activities.

The following Circles plan to restart in October: Italian, Mahjong, Hiking, Canasta, Literary Lunch, Uni Mums and Yoga

Walking Circle

During the hotter months, the Walking Circle have moved indoors. New ladies are always welcome to join.

Meet 9am sharp on Mondays at Dubai Hills Mall outside Marks and Spencer’s. Closest parking is via Entrance E, Sharaf DG Parking P1.

We will walk for one hour and have coffee afterwards at Marks & Spencer’s coffee shop.

Spanish Circle

The Spanish Circle, led by Maria, are now meeting on Tuesdays 10.30am for intermediate and Thursdays at 11am for beginners.

French Circle

The French Circle, led by Bea Sion, plan to restart on Friday mornings from 25th September. If you know some basic French but would like to improve and learn more, join the French Circle. New members welcome.

Do you have grown-up children at or soon to start college or university?

Join the Uni mums WhatsApp group for support and socialising. They next plan to meet in October.

Art Circle

The Art Circle, led by Rajul, meet on Thursdays from 10am to 12 noon to learn new techniques and create beautiful paintings. New members welcome.

The Line Dancing Circle, led by Carole, meet on Wednesday mornings from 10am, starting 13th September, at Melodica Dance Studio, near Waitrose in Motor City.

Pilates Circle

The Pilates Circle meet on Thursday afternoons 2-3pm, at Optimal Fitness in Studio City. Gillian from Optimal Fitness is teaching the class. New ladies welcome.

The Book Circle, led by Jackie, meet once a month to discuss a book they have read over coffee.

Over the summer, they have been reading The Woman Upstairs by Claire Messud.

Quilters Circle

The Quilters Circle will be restarting their meetings in-person on the 3rd Monday of each month, beginning on 18th September, 10.30am.

The Quilters Circle have a separate membership under the umbrella of Ranches ladies. New members are welcome. They will be processing registrations for the new quilting year (2023-24) on 5th September from 10:30 a.m to 12 p.m at LARTE Cafe, Studio One hotel.

The Literary Lunch Circle meet over lunch to discuss a book they have read.
