Lunch Circle at Avli Restaurant
On 6th March, the Lunch Circle, led by Karen Weaving, went to Avli in the Four Seasons DIFC for their business lunch. The restaurant was marvellous and they had a great afternoon enjoying delicious food with beautiful ladies, building relationships and making new friends. A big thank you to Karen for organising.

Circles Coffee Morning – Tuesday 21st March

Can you share something you have been doing in your Circle group? Could you write about your favourite place to visit, or anything else that would be of interest to other RL members?
We need short (200-300 word) articles for this newsletter, with photos if possible. It would be great to have an article for each week’s newsletter.

RL Circles News
The number of Circles activities have increased so it is not possible to fit each one on the newsletter every week. See the March Circles Calendar on the website for more activities.
Ramadan will start from around the 23rd March and this may affect the scheduling of some Circle activities.
Hiking Circle
The Hiking Circle are enjoying last few weeks of good weather to get outside. Here are some photos of last Thursday’s hike to Al Hamba Ravine. It was a great hike that included a walk through an orchard perfumed by the mature jasmine trees. At the end of the hike they visited the Fower Farm in Fujairah.

Art Circle
The Art Circle, led by Rajul, are continuing to creating stunning paintings on various themes, and learning new painting techniques.

Book Circle
The Book Circle will meet this Friday 17th March to discuss The End of Summer and we are very excited that we will be joined by the author, Salha Al Busaidy.

French Circle
Last Friday, the French Circle enjoyed lunch at the new Le Fouquet’s French restaurant in Downtown Dubai.
The French Circle, led by Bea, meet on Friday mornings and the venue varies. If you know some basic French but would like to improve and learn more, join the French Circle.

New – Italian Circle
The Italian Circle is back and completely new! Join us on Wednesdays from 10 to 11 am and learn how to speak in Italian in a blink of an eye.
Every week we will improv real life situations through guided and non guided role plays. Amaze your friends with your Italian whether you’re going on a holiday or just to an Italian venue in Dubai! Don’t expect a traditional frontal lesson, you will be the star on stage! Warm up exercises to gain focus, concentration and free your creativity. Activities to learn vocabulary and grammar! Fun is guaranteed! All levels are welcome. Wear comfortable clothes.
The Italian Circle will be led by Paola and Nicoletta. Paola is a certified Italian teacher with 10 years of experience in Dubai.
Nicoletta is an actress with many years of experience in improv theatre and collaborates with Italian performers in Dubai.

Literary Lunch Circle
The Literary Lunch Circle, led by Ashfaa, are reading the bestselling novel, Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus. It follows the story of Elizabeth Zott, a brilliant chemist in the 1950’s and 60’s. who is forced to become a television chef when she finds herself a young, single mother.

Walking Fitness Circle
Come and join the Walking Circle while the weather is still not too hot. Meet on Mondays at 7.15am outside the main entrance of the Community Retail centre in Arabian Ranches to walk for around one hour. Tea/coffee in Costa afterwards at 8.15am.

Beach Walking Circle
The Beach Walking Circle, led by Monika, at Kite beach (Blue Villas parking) on Tuesdays at 6.30am, walk for around 7-8 km and stop for coffee afterwards.

Poetry Circle
The next Poetry Circle meeting, led by Carole, has been changed to Monday 20th March, 2.30pm in Savannah, Arabian Ranches 1.
There was so many interesting poems on Magic and the Supernatural that they are repeating the same theme this month.

The Mosaics Circle are having fun creating some beautiful pieces.
They meet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9.30am in Green Community East, DIP.

Ranches Ladies Quilters are a group within Ranches Ladies who love creating with quilting, sewing and embroidery.
