Arte – The Makers’ Market
Visit the UAE’s largest pure handmade designer, art, fashion & craft market with up to 150 contemporary and highly original makers and designers. At Mercato Mall, Jumeirah Beach Road on 2nd and 16th July and Times Square Center on 9th and 23rd July.
Summer Reunions
If you are a present or past RL member who lives in the UK, or are visiting this summer, there are a couple of Ranches Ladies reunions being planned.
Sue Fulham is organising a reunion lunch in London on 8th July.
Mary Harvey is planning a reunion in Edinburgh in late July or early August.

Tuesday Mornings
Ranches Ladies are meeting on Tuesday mornings for coffee and chat at Larte Restaurant in Studio One Hotel, Studio City (across the roundabout from the back entrance of Arabian Ranches 1) from 10.30am – 12pm.
In July and August, as many people are travelling, please check on RL members WhatsApp group before going to Larte. To join the Ranches Ladies Whatsapp group if you are a member, please email ranches.ladies@gmail.com

RL Circles News
The Circles Calendar for June is on the website.
As many circles are not planing to meet in July and August, there will be no new Circles Calendar until September.
Due to summer travel plans, many circles will not be meeting until September or October including Quilters, Literature Lunch Circle, Story telling, Poetry, Gardening, Hiking, and the International Lunch Circle.
The indoor Climbing Circle have now stopped meeting due to many people being away.
Circles in July or August
These Circles may continue meeting if enough ladies are available. Please check with Circle leaders.
Book Circle
The Book Circle, led by Jackie, will continue informally over the summer as only a few members are around. They will be reading ‘Pachinko’ by Min Jin Lee and ‘Blood Orange’ by Harriet Tyce.

French Circle
The French Circle meet to learn and improve their French on Friday mornings. If enough people are available they will meet in July or August.

Art Circle
The Art Circle, led by Rajul, may meet in July or August if enough people are available. Thursdays from 10am to 12 noon. New members welcome.

Cinema Circle
The Cinema Circle, led by Marina, plan to meet on Monday Mornings in July if enough people are interested.

Walking Circle
The Walking Circle, led by Alex, are walking indoors during the hotter months. They meet at Dubai Hills Mall outside Marks and Spencer’s at 9am to walk for one hour and have coffee afterwards.

Pilates Circle
The Pilates Circle meet on Thursday afternoons 2-3pm, at Optimal Fitness in Studio City. Gillian from Optimal Fitness is teaching the class and there is space for more ladies to join. They will continue over the summer if enough people are around.

Mahjongg Monday Circle
The Mahjongg Monday Circle are meeting to play on Mondays from 10am to 1pm.
