Tuesday Mornings

Ranches Ladies are meeting for coffee and a chat on Tuesday mornings at Larte Restaurant in Studio One Hotel, Studio City (across the roundabout from the back entrance of Arabian Ranches 1) from 10.30am- 12pm.

We hope to be able to restart our social and cultural programme soon. Stay tuned for details.

RL Circles News

Due to the weekend changes in the UAE, some circles may be changing the days they meet.

The January Circles Calendar is now available on our website.

Mosaics Circle

The Mosaics Circle, led by Ayesha, will restart on Wednesday mornings from 12th January, as long as there are enough ladies, in Green Community East, DIP.

Intermediate Spanish Circle

The Intermediate Spanish Circle, led by Manoly, meet once a week on Mondays at 5.30pm. They plan to restart on 10th January.

Art Circle

The Art Circle will have their first meeting of this year on Thursday 13th January.

They meet on Thursday mornings to learn new techniques and create beautiful paintings. The venue may vary.

International Lunch Circle

The International Lunch Circle meet to share delicious food from RL members’ home countries and learn about the local culture at the same time. They will not be meeting this month due to COVID-19.

Literary Lunch Circle

The Literary Lunch Circle are currently reading The Phone Box at the Edge of the World by Laura Imai Messina – this beautiful book is both a small, quiet love story and a vast expansive meditation on grieving and loss. To be discussed on Monday 17th January.

The Book Circle are currently reading The Enchanted April by Elizabeth Von Arnim.

The Bridge circle, led by Manju, are meeting to play on Thursdays at 11am.

The Mahjongg Monday Circle are meeting to play on Mondays from 10am to 1pm, upstairs in Shakespeare and Co, Arabian Ranches 1.

Yoga Circle

Mariana is teaching yoga. The days have changed to Mondays and Thursdays from 8.30am. The format is 60 minutes of yoga and 30 minutes for tea and snacks.

Quilters Circle

Ranches Ladies Quilters are a group within Ranches Ladies who love creating with quilting, sewing and embroidery.

Meetings are now on the 3rd Monday of the month due to the weekend change. Meetings are currently held via Zoom.

Walking Fitness Circle

The walking circle meet at 7.30am outside Arabian Ranches 1 retail centre main entrance to walk for approximately one hour at a moderate, but not too slow pace, stopping back at the retail centre for coffee afterwards.

Gillian from Optimal Fitness is now planning to start the Pilates circle in January. It will most likely be on Thursday afternoons at 2pm, at Optimal Fitness in Studio City. At least 4 ladies are needed in order to run the class.
