All UAE residents embrace the country’s spirit and resilience. The UAE is a nation of hope and optimism and National Day celebrates the country’s rich legacy and traditions and looks ahead to a vivid future for our nation
There will be 3 days of national holiday including Commemoration Day on 1st December

Giving Tuesday
On Tuesday December 1st people around the globe will come together in unity and show kindness and generosity in all its forms by giving their voice, time, money, goods, and advocacy to support communities and causes

Tuesday Morning Social Meetings
RL is waiting for approval to meet on a Tuesday but in the meantime our RL discount partner Studio One Hotel have announced that they holding a Christmas Bazaar on December 12th 2020 and everyone is welcome.

Art Circle
The Art Circle is thrilled to announce that Rajul, our silk painting circle leader, has agreed to lead our Art Circle in the techniques of acrylic painting. Rajul enjoys all forms of creative art and is a talented embroiderer, glass and oil painter and enjoys pencil drawing and creating zentangles and mandalas
Walking Fitness Circle
Members of the Walking Fitness Circle are meeting at 7.30am outside Costa coffee at AR1 community centre every Monday. We are walking in socially distanced pairs, and walk for around an hour, finishing where we begin at Costa.

Literary Lunch Circle
The December book choice is Avni Doshi’s Burnt Sugar. Avni Doshi is an American novelist currently based in Dubai and this book recently made the Booker shortlist. We will discuss it in January after the Christmas break

French Circle

Spanish Circle
The Spanish Circle has also restarted remotely this month led by Manoly. The times of the classes are:
Mondays 5.30pm for intermediates and Wednesdays 11.30am for beginners
