Ranches Ladies Newsletter

The summer holiday period is here but unlike other years most UAE residents may be staying put in the region. Ranches Ladies has a number of online circles still meeting and members will be continuing to paint, sew, make mosaics, read and discuss books and enjoy all their crafts whilst continuing to social distance.

Although Dubai is gradually returning to normal RL cannot resume its activities, meetings and circles until we have received government approval from the CDA. As a result we cannot resume our Tuesday coffee mornings or organise the usual circles. Please bear with us and continue with your online activities.

We will let you know as soon as Ranches Ladies can meet face to face again

Tuesday Morning Social

7 July at 10am

RL is holding our Zoom coffee morning every 2 weeks and the next will be on 7 July at 10am. We would love you to join us to catch up with your news.

You will need to download the app, if you don’t already have it, and email Jackie on circles.ranches.ladies@gmail.com to let her know you would like to join our Zoom coffee morning

Jackie will then send you an email invitation which you can use to join the Zoom meeting. Just click on the link in the email you receive at 10am on Tuesday 7 July

Treasurer

RL is delighted to announce that Jayshree Pau has agreed to take over the role of RL treasurer when Anne steps down. Anne is a valued member of the RL committee and she will be greatly missed so we are particularly thrilled that we have found a worthy replacement.

Jayshree is a qualified accountant so we are extremely lucky that she has agreed to join the committee. Welcome Jayshree x

RL Circles News

You can view the Circles Calendar on the website: This Month’s Circles Calendar on the website http://www.arabianranchesladies.com and our home page for updates. We are keeping a watchful eye on events and will let you know if circles can resume in September/October.

We now have a few regular weekly circles which are held on online and will continue for the next few weeks. On Mondays and Thursdays at 2pm Mariana is live streaming her Yoga classes and on Wednesdays at 2-3pm Optimal Fitness is holding Pilates sessions. The French Circle meets every Sunday at 10am on Zoom

Sadly online Zumba with Sarah has been cancelled but Optimal Fitness are continuing with other online activities, including Pilates, and are offering a 10% discount off all their classes for Ranches Ladies.
