RL Circles News
We have had some lovely RL news from UK where Nazreen’s daughter Zoya has given birth to a healthy little girl in Liverpool, Feya Abidi. The medical team were amazing. Congratulations to the whole family
As the circle leaders are getting to grips with social media a number of the circles are having virtual meetings online. Jackie has been able to set up a calendar of circles for May
Please email circles.ranches.ladies@gmail.com with your pictures, suggestions and activities. We love to see what everyone is getting up to during this unusual time.
Where are you at the moment? Please let us know and send some lovely photos like Dianne who is in lockdown in Grantham, Lincolnshire in UK having been evacuated from deepest, darkest Peru. Dianne is missing all the circles, particularly Scottish Dancing, and all our lovely Ranches ladies
Quilting
Look at this masterpiece by RL quilter Jo Curtis. Jo has been using the lockdown to complete a lot of her unfinished projects. This particular 3D quilt takes an enormous amount of preparation and planning and is not for the fainthearted. Absolutely stunning
Silk Painting
Rajul is looking forward to when the circles will resume and she can restart her silk painting classes. She is a talented artist but she can teach you some of her techniques and skills so anyone can produce a silk painting of their own. This particular piece has been inspired by hope following the period of lockdown.
Mums and Tots
Natasha Tompkinson is Yvonne Elliott’s daughter and she has created a new Instagram page where she’ll be sharing ideas on how keep your child happy and entertained whilst learning at the same time. She is an early years teacher with a wealth of knowledge that she’d love to share.
All you have to do is search for @inspire_tiny_learners on Instagram!
