Charity News

• Congratulations to Denise and Brian Sadler for a wonderful Valentine Barbecue in their garden last Friday evening  thanks to Liz Stark for the valentine cupcakes and thank you to Natalie Smith and Marina Walker for helping with the barbecue.  We raised about 4,400 dirhams for our charity.  This will pay for school fees for one child for a year and more.
• 520 dirhams raised at our monthly charity raffle last week.  Thanks to Sheila Crowe who ran it.

• Book Group 1 will meet on the 19th of February and discuss ’Cutting for Stone’ by Abraham Verghese.
• The next drumming session will be on Thursday 16th February.

Our speaker this week is Lynda Shepherd who will entertain us with her talk – Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh.  We shall also have our charity raffle today!

Tuesday 13th December – Please join us for a fun and festive morning.   Two wonderful ladies have come forward to put on this morning – please support them by turning up in Christmas colours. The program will start earlier that day – check post the next Sunday.It will be the last coffee morning of 2011!

We would like to thank Heather Finlayson our trips coordinator who  is stepping down in this capacity,  she has taken a part-time position in the area.    Thankfully Heather will continue to be our Ranches Ladies Vice President.    Thank you  Heather for everything you have done for the club and the ladies who have enjoyed the trips you have taken us on.  You have done an amazing job!!  Good luck in your new adventure!!
