This week we are delighted to welcome Elizabeth Maley-Craig, who will be talking to us about “How to landscape a garden on a budget and how to care for it in the summer”.  She has been a landscaper in Dubai for the past 35 years, prior to that she was the Chief propagator for the Royal Parks in London.  Elizabeth has written two books and will be bringing a stock of  “indoor and balcony plants” with her to sell.   A great opportunity to pick up a signed copy!

• Ranches Ladies supports only one charity Al Ihsan for destitute women and children in Ajman. This week  Baruni will be showing their spring range.  Image consultant Nina Iskander and a makeup artist will be happy to give advice.  The makeup artist who will be with us is Sophie Hendra.  Sophie  specialises in makeup for beauty and fashion photo shoots, along with runway, wedding, tv and film makeup to name just a few of her talents.  Note doors open at 9.15  show 10-11 am.  Afterwards there will be an opportunity to try on and purchase  items.  Great door prizes!

• Thanks to Jan Henessy for hosting a wonderful ”Day at the Races Afternoon Tea” in her lovely garden last week.  Thanks to Rosemary and Eileen who helped host  the afternoon and to all the other ladies who baked goodies for it.  Thanks to Sadaf who oversaw the whole event.  Thanks to the 29 ladies who came to the event.1900 dir was raised for our charity Al Ihsan.
